I have a box full of shirts I've bought at concerts that I never wear, except to more concerts! I'd love to wear them every day but feel like I have to save them, because I can't get another if they get worn out. But what on earth am I saving them for...? What good are they doing hidden away in a box?
So, what do you do with your concert shirts?

You know, I haven't worn my FM t-shirt since the night of the concert! And that was only briefly back at the YHA I was staying at!
I had the idea that I'd wear it a few times a semester when I got back to uni. I'll probably follow through on it...

Wow!! How have you managed to get so many? Even with their tours etc I didn't think there'd be 85! I'd love to have that many. Any chance you could post a pic of some of the more obscure ones?

I have four shirts. I only bought two at concerts. One shirt is from the 70s. When I worked at a grocery store (in the early 90s), this woman came in wearing it and I asked her if I could buy it from her! LOL! She told me I could have it and brought it to me that weekend. My second shirt, I ordered from a catalog in 1993. The shirt is the cover of Rock A Little. My third shirt, I bought from The Dance tour. My fourth is from the Say You Will tour. I wear my shirts occasionally. The last two are really too big now. I need to get smaller sizes off ebay or something. The 70s shirt is really thin, so I'm afraid to wear it too much. So, now I wear the RAL shirt when I wear one.

Here's a picture of me from 2008 wearing one of mine. I still wear it regularly.

Sometimes. I remember buying t shirts from every concert I went to. I would wear them the next day and that would basically be it. Thats when I started buying tourbooks instead. I did buy all 3 RAL t shirts, a red one with Stevie in the black dress, a white one with cut off sleaves, some neon colors on the front I believe, I want to say the 3rd one was black, don't remember. I also have Enchanted, CV, SYW, The Dance, and Unleashed hoodie.
My mother went to the Tusk concert, and she bought a shirt, needless to say I used to wear the crap out of that, but it started to thin out with each wash, so knowing my mother, who is anything but a hoarder, she probably threw it out. Last thing, my favorite shirt is not Mac related at all, it was from an Allman Brothers concert one hot ass August day back in 1992. It's black with a trippy mushroom on it. Love it.

I wear my tour t-shirts, but not to often as the last thing I want to do is wear them out!
I like parading around in tour t-shirts as if to say "Yep, I've seen this amazing band live!"

I don't have any, but I know my mum's got an TITN one in the attic somewhere that I desperatley want.
I hate the story. She never went to the concert. Her friend went and found a ticket on the floor but couldn't get in contact with her so he bought her the shirt. I'd have cried on the spot!

I love that place! :wavey: I got my record copy of Rumours and Christine McVie there.
I only have 3 Mac shirts that I don't wear out normally...I need a really cool one that I can wear other than to go to bed.

I don't believe I own any FM-related apparel. However, I do occasionally rock a My Morning Jacket hoodie for my early morning constitutional.

I wear some. I don't usually go for the more "obvious" styles (dates on the back, a huge photo on the front) but when I do, I usually only wear those to bed, around the house or when I'm doing errands. The more decorative ones, I wear more often. I wear my Gift of Screws tour shirt a lot because I like the fit and texture of the fabric and it's also a little more subtle than some tour shirts tend to be. One of my favorite bands makes "song" shirts, which are shirts that feature specific lyrics from a song and are designed in the theme of the song. I love those and wear them a lot, especially since they aren't specifically branded as a band t-shirts. I also like vintage style shirts, like the Stevie one from the last tour, and wear those kinds pretty often.

I don't own any SN/FM related.
But I have acquired an original Motley Crue Shout At The Devil tour shirt
As well as an Ozzy Blizzard Of Ozz and Guns N Roses Appetite For Destruction. My best friend's mom has a closet full of these kinds of rock shirts. She claims to also have a Tom Petty Damn The Torpedoes one, but says it's too precious to get out haha
But the only ones I wear are my Marilyn Manson 2007, and my Brand New 2009

I have a bunch of Mac & Stevie shirts. I wear all of them, because I wanna, even my white album era iron-on tee. I have a picture around here somewhere of me horsebackriding in my Rock A Little shirt.
My most prized band shirt is my Sisters of Mercy "utterly bastard groovy" shirt from 1992, though.
I have a ton of KMFDM shirts, way more than I have of FM & Stevie shirts, for their shirts are awesome. I also have a huge pile of Type O Negative shirts, for their shirts are also awesome. My fav is my "TEAM PROZAC" one.
I have a handful of Tori Amos shirts, including a crew hoodie gifted to me by a friend who has toured with her several times, a handful of Fear Factory shirts, a sweet vintage Slayer tee, some Pantera shirts, a way too big Nick Cave shirt, etc, etc. I just like band shirts, particularly if they are old and soft.
I also have Iron Maiden & Misfits sneakers.
I guess my Resident Evil & God of War shirts don't count, but I also have a pile of those, as well as various movie shirts. :D
Jeans, kick-ass boots, a cool tee, and my little leather jackets are my general day-to-day uniform.

I have(stored away somewhere - I should go find them, because I could finally wear them again, now), a Tusk baseball jersey, a Mirage "french" T-shirt, a Wild Heart burgundy T-shirt, and probably a couple others(probably all mediums). I stored most of mine away, years ago, when I got too fat for them! I'm now 150, so it'd no longer be an issue!

I have a bit of a query about my mum's Tango shirt. She says it's black, from one of the actual concerts and has the album cover on the front. Can anyone tell me anything? I.e... wether it's worth trying to root hers out or if it'd be easier to just go buy another?
I know I'm getting the white Penguin one off the official site on monday, so I'll no longer be Mac shirtless :blob1:

Not everyday like I used to wear them all day,now only at Stevie/FM concerts, since they are about $40.00 dollars a piece now,The old ones are priceless not,I dont want to get pasta sauce or motor oil stains on them.anyway Now they are still packed away in a big box in the spare bedroom{future Stevie shrine}waiting to get out and get inspected and cleaned and put away in the dresser.I have a ton of other artists, mostly if not all country artists, some have their autographs on them, like Emmylou Harris and Kathy Mattea have signed the tees.

I also have alot of Mac/Nicks other artists concert shirts too but mostly Mac/Nicks some I wear some I don't .....I almost hate to wear them out too. I'd love to find that BD/WH combo shirt I've seen it on ebay always goes too high for me. Or that black BD shirt thats the same as the blue BD combo but no WH on the back ....that was on ebay too but again it went too high. I love promo jackets. I'm still seeking a WH blue XL snap jacket/silkscreened front/back with the WH logo.....or the embroidered Enchanted back/with Dove design from BD....I've seen it listed on ebay as from the BD tour but I know its not cause the front writing has the auto of Stevie from Enchanted & I know thats not the offical BD jacket......(XL too) I've tried many times bidding for it on ebay over the yrs but again outbid......than theres the RAL embroided promo jacket another cool one (XL too)........who knows one day I might sell some of my shirts or trade one of these days........I wish there was a SA promo jacket but no luck never seen one or the TS embroided jacket (XL too) I had that but sent it back to Wynnco at the time.....long story....

So, what do you do with your concert shirts?I had a lot of really good ones -- to me, the best ones are those with the date & info of the actual concert on the shirt. But awhile back, I cut them all up into pieces to arrange in some sort of mural, which I never put together, so I just threw out all the pieces.
