I’ve never seen ‘Sweet November.’ Was ‘Touched By An Angel’ used effectively in the movie? Did the theme of the song have anything to do with the scene it was in?

Very beautiful and touching song. I read that Barbara Nicks said (about 10 years ago) that she wished the tv program of the same name would use it in the show, and that she would like to have it played at her funeral.

The movie is worth seeing, but no, the song is bearly heard in the film. Get the soundtrack--definitely worth having. If Stevie makes a "best of" album (not another TimeSpace), this song should be on it.

That song was the pooh. I'm sure John Shanks was like "What the hell do I do with this garbage?"

I've always wished that this song would have been used in the tv program "Touched by an Angel." For obvious reasons. :)
Maybe even as the opening theme song.

The song was in the film but you could barely hear it. I love the movie! I own it as a matter of fact, if you've seen it yet, and still couldn't figure out what scene was playing the song, it was when Keanu Reeves was talking to Charlize Theron's guy friend in the bar about her medical condition. Listen closely, you can hear Stevie singing on the jukebox. I love this film! Does the song have anything to do with the film? No, but it kind of does. I'm not going into details on how, in case anyone hasn't seen the film yet.

In Fast Times at Ridgemont High Stevie's song Sleeping Angel was played when the girl went to the clinic to get an abortion. That's two soundtrack songs of hers that were used in the "medical" part of a movie.

It is hard to hear. If you have surround sound hooked up you might be able to hear it. I heard it loud and clear when I first saw the film in the theater when it came out. But it is hard to hear on your regular tv.
