I have to go with Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You. If she performs a song, and they're doing performances for Haiti, it sorta matches that theme the most.

I'd totally die if she sang something new though

I voted "something new" tho I don't think it will be a new Stevie-song, just a song that she has never sung before, a cover of a duet with someone else, or a tribute with some others.

I just can't imagine her randomly showing up and playing one of her standards... I have to believe she's going to do something different. Be it a duet with another artist(s), or a song she's written for Haiti or something. I must say... if she were to take this opportunity to announce recording/releasing of new material, I could die tomorrow! But we all know that's more than a bit of a stretch...

I think it will be HAEWAFU.... If not that a duet with one of the other performers. Somthing new??? Yeah right:lol:

Please don't get your hopes up too high. Consider some scenarios:
*She's part of a large all-star choir, with no solo, and barely any screen time,
*She one of three superstar back-up singers to a Wyclef Jean performance (Stevie Nicks, Chaka Khan, k.d. lang, and Gladys Knight) with barely any screen time,
*She gets to do one 'mama say mama sa mama ku sa' during the MJ tribute,

'Landslide' sounds sort of creepy, considering the recent earthquake. (shudder)
That would be like singing 'Dreams' for a country devastated by a typhoon ("thunder only happens, when it's raining...")

I voted for something new 'cause that's my greatest wish (or Ben as part of the MJ tribute) But yeah, if it's part of a Haiti thing, then HAEWAFY would be appropriate.

Has anyone thought she may pull off a cover song?

I tend to agree. That's why I keep trying to pepper in warnings to others to not get their hopes up. If you've been a Mac/Stevie fan for 17 years like I have, you come to the table with lowered expectations. Stevie hasn't recorded a new solo album in 9 years now. Fleetwood Mac hasn't recorded an album in 7. Fleetwood Mac's '09 tour wasn't even in the top 10 most successful. I just can't imagine them giving her a mic and the whole stage to herself. It's my strong opinion she'll be a part of a collaborative effort.

It just occurred to me that she might be performing on the non-televised section of the Grammys too.

I think Meowi is onto something... Peter Asher will also be present, I bet Stevie's performance is linked to that Buddy Holly tribute project they're working on.

I really hope that it isn't that she'll just be part of a large ensemble performing a remake of 'We Are The World'- I read the song is being remade, both to benefit Haiti and also to honor M.Jackson. I hope it wasn't to be at The Grammy's.
Gosh, I disliked that song. But whatever it is, I'll just be glad that Stevie's on the telecast. It's bizarre, for me, to remember that Lindsey was there singing on the original 'We Are The World,' but I guess the song helped a lot of people? 1985 was it? Was it to try to combat world hunger? I can't remember....

I wonder if she even remembers Sister Honey.

Also, she won't do Dreams. I know it's so popular but she never does Dreams on TV. Stand Back seems to be the most popular "stevie on the tv" song.

I voted something new in light of maybe we will finally hear the finished version of the New Orleans song and she can dedicate it to the people of New Orleans and the people of Haiti. Maybe some of the proceeds will go to a charity fund or something.

I do have to admit, I guess the next most appropriate song would be HAEWAFY, but you would think for an awards show like the Grammys, you would want to do something new.

Just think back to how shocked we all were when she broke out Fall From Grace for the Blockbuster Awards show.

I seriously think I'd die if she sang Sister Honey!

I'd love it if the lights went out...
Then a huge explosion of confetti and sparks.

"ALL RIGHT BABY!!!" cries Stevie

Then if she did HAEWAFY, No ones on the stage, instead she is floating on wires. SHe then 'flys' to the stage. :blob2:

You guys saw where she's performing with Taylor Swift, right? My guess is since Taylor is the one with Grammy nominations, they'll be performing one of her songs.

Edit: they're rehearsing Rhiannon.

Stevie is singing Rhiannon with Taylor Swift in the Flashback segment of the grammys. It's on Twitter. They are rehearsing now.
