Okay..I know we've been talking bout this round and round forever..and seeing as Carrie fisher and Linda Blair are getting a little old to play Stevie( though I think they look the most like her) I thin k I found a new younger actress that I think could pull off Stevie if her hair was done blond just right and she threw some brown contacts in...She's got that cute prettiness to her like Stevie does and did and I saw her in "Julie and Julia" and she was too darn cute...something bout her reminded me of Stevie...maybe her fraility and seriousness mixed with cuteness...not sure how she sings but guess she could lip sync...anyway...here's a couple of photos....the short shaggy haircut was her new look for the JnJ movie I was talking bout...she kinda has that Stevie turnup nose too...which I think is important! ahaha...either way...she's gorgeous...

I honestly can't imagine anything more awful.

Why can't we keep all these suggestions in one thread?

You think she'd be awful? Well I think she'd be better than Taylor Swift, Lindsay or Reese...I'm not on this site that often so I don't know where the "ORIGINAL" thread is...I just saw the Taylor one.....reminds me why I don't like this site as much as others...people attack here...don't know why there's so many people like that r here....

LOL.
I completely agree. Besides her being blue eyed (and contacts always look wrong so don't even say it), her voice is as mousey as it gets.
If this were to happen, which seems rather silly actually, it would be best to cast an unknown for the role of Stevie Nicks.

I'd be better than Lindsay and I don't look remotely like Stevie, I can't act and I can't sing.

I hear ya on this one. People gotta lighten up! :blob2:

Nobody's attacking you... we just don't tend to filter our opinions, or pad our responses here :). My best advice to you is respond back to posts armed with as much counter evidence and proof that you can muster when somebody disagrees with you. We all love debating endlessly :D.

I tend to agree with what others have said about Amy playing Stevie. I've seen her in plenty of movies: Drop Dead Gorgeous, Confessions Of A Shopaholic, Doubt, Charlie Wilson's War, Talladega Nights, etc. In my opinion she's just too cutesy and angelic to play Stevie.

On the other hand... it could be a real tour de force and a turning point in her career if she were to nail the true gritty nature of Stevie through her darkest times. Just think of how shocking and sobering it would be to see Amy snorting up coke while her nose is hemorrhaging, or her head being slammed into a car hood by Lindsey. In a way, somebody like Amy might be just the choice come to think of it. Just look at video footage of Stevie in the early days. She too was very innocent, ditzy, and cutesy. She only became hardened when things really started getting crazy in the '80s. If Amy were capable of portraying that shift, it could truly be genius casting.

Even when she's anguished (like Sunshine Cleaning), she still seems upbeat and light. I think she would be good portraying some aspects, but really lacks range enough to cover the spectrum of emotion or events.

Here's my 2 cents:
I loved Amy in Julie and Julia. I don't like her as Stevie, though.

I know Stevie likes Reese, so, it will probably be her, but, I fail to see it.

I understand her not wanting that skanky Lindsay Lohan, but, she needs to pick someone who can relate to her wild past, a little. Maybe someone like Bijou Phillips...well, she may be in the Lohan category...shoot I don't know!!!
