Did anyone see this? Of course the tour year is wrong but it looks like the smaller platform version of the boots she sometimes wore to me.

Yeah I had not seen this article but then again I always find out about things last, I think. Those to me look like some version of the earlier lower platforms she wore at times but definitely not the higher boots. Still cool though! If she were going to let go of things, I'd prefer it be put on display for fans at places like RRHOF and Hard Rock for us to drool over and see. That seems cool and for a good cause.

Those are fabulous! I couldn't find a pic from the TITN tour, but they look a lot like the ones she was wearing for SYW:

From the photos I seen of Stevie with her boots, she has had various heel and platform heights throughout the years. Also, she wore leather versions of her suede trademark boots but seemed to keep those for everyday wear and the suede ones for both stage and off. Any which way....I love them!

She has. I think it's only us boot fanatics of hers that look closely enough to notice (or care) lol. I'll always love the boots with the full 2" platform and 5-6 inch heel. :]

Sanne that pic above from SYW tour, those boots look to be her standard originals with the full platform and heel to me? They look to be anyway.

I have no idea whose picture this belongs to so excuse me for using it, but it just goes to show you that yes Stevie does switch up the boots here and there cause these are totally made different and non covered on the bottoms. These look like the Today Show boots she wore with the black jacket and long cream skirt.

Just wanted to say that this is my photo, I took it when the band played Earl's Court in 2003.
I think the boots on the Hard Rock site have a smaller platform, I actually prefer them.

I'm always browsing for stuff when I'm bored and happened to find these on Ebay and was shocked at how "Stevie" they were. Usually you won't find such a dead on 70's platform Stevie boot today unless you have them custom made like some of us have to do. I'm surprised anyone was making such a boot like this but that platform and heel, you can't get any more "Stevie" than that I don't think. And for 348.00 dollars new in the box, if they had my size I'd so buy them lol  even though I don't need anymore boots, and even if they are leather, they're still a cool ready-made boot.

I think they are smaller by the looks. Of course the higher platform and heel boots are funky and outrageous for everyday wear, but trust me you walk and feel like a queen when you're in them  and they're ok for dress up occasions or for ones who wear them on stage as stage wear.

I got this photo from here, searching past shows I think. Or it may have been on 7W, I'm not sure. I always try and give credit if they're not mine! : P

I kinda of prefer the lower ones as well. They are still PLENTY tall enough.

Mm, you could be right about the platform.
Great photo btw! It's one of my faves from SYW, because you can see the boots and because I love that long, sparkly robe-thing.

You know I wonder if they got the year right but the name of the tour wrong. They look to me like boots she was wearing around the time of The Other Side Of The Mirror. I wouldn't be surprised if she was wearing smaller platforms then given all her health issues.
I seem to recall that is actually when those lovely Frankenboks made their debut. I believe the story was that she had broken her foot and was soldiering on despite the ugly shoes. I'm not sure if it was the foot problem or the Klonopin haze, but Mama did. not. move. an. inch once she stood at the mic.

Thanks! I order my boots from either one of two places always. I love my boots and can't ever have enough . I have that particular pair custom made for me from a bootmaker overseas and have always been pleased with the work. There are high quality "Stevie-like" boots out there that won't cost you next months mortgage and you can shop with the confidence of any shopper that if perhaps you don't like what's sent you, you can ask for a replacement or your money back. I think some of these people offering up "their" version of Stevie boots can leave a bad feeling in a shoppers gut before making such a high purchase because of their return policies. I've also found ShoesUSA will make you a great Stevie Nicks boot in any color suede for under 500.00 (but cheaper for women) because us men have to pay more for larger custom sizes but it's still a great deal I think and worth it and another place I shop with confidence. I get in trouble sometimes for "infringing" on what other people (on Ebay etc.) are offering as Stevie-boots but I just love talking boots and letting you people know there are other places to find a good quality SN boot, you just have to know where to look and shop. Don't fall for that "One Stop Shop" stuff.

Those boots are flippin' fantastic. I want to hug them.
But not in a creepy way.
Though now that I've typed that, I don't think you can say you want to hug someone's shoes and not have it be creepy. My bad.
I had a ready-made Stevie-ish pair (not suede, but smooth leather) that I wore a ton, but then I lost a bunch of weight and they bagged too unattractively around my ankles and calves. I'd like to get a custom pair one day, but so spendy.
I'm a lover of all types of boots, though, so I have many knee-high boots that aren't really Stevie-ish, too.

Thanks! I don't mind people who adore boots. I could talk Stevie clothes and boots all day. I went for a period from 2006-2008 where I was buying stuff for my Stevie- wardrobe until I seriously had to stop. I had boot boxes going up my wall and always buying clothes and that awesome shawl I'd have to have. It's cool stuff to own and I know it's there whenever I do feel like getting into it all and dressed all up. Stevie- style clothes are the only female clothes I care to wear or look like and if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't dress up at all. I just always loved her style of wispy gypsy wear. That witchy look. I do think my love of chunky platform boots has rubbed off on one of my younger sisters because she recently went to the mall and bought her some very nice knee high black leather platform boots and wears them every weekend that she goes out and she says people compliment her in them. Granted they're not as extreme a rock boot as mine but hers is like a 1" platform and 5 inch heel and I have mine made the full 2 inch platform and 5 inch heel or so and I love them and make no apologies about them lol :]

Funny story. Very early on when I had first started getting into buying "Stevie style" stuff and before I started having my boots custom made, I had found these black leather boots online that looked "Stevie-ish" and high enough in the pic and cost over 80.00. So I wait a few days and they arrive and I open the box to find these enormously huge black fetish boots with a very high platform and 7 inch heel. So on they go cause I wanted to try them out. I took two steps and fell on my ass but luckily I collapsed on my bed. Those boots got one try out and they are still in the box they came in new, and still wrapped in plastic since that day in 2006. No more extreme fetish boots for me! lol

Would you be willing to share your source overseas with me? :) I'm looking a buy a custom made pair, but have certain things in the sewing I want done. Is your person overseas easy to work with and are they over 500.00? Thanks and PM me if you like.
