Does anyone love Blondie?

[ButterCookie]

As a huge Debbie Harry and Blondie fan, I thought I'd see who else loves them as much as I do :D

I joined the FM forum with my friends DefDumbandBlond and Blondy-xx when we decided that we loved our BlondieForum so much that we'd love to join a Fleetwood Mac board :)

I also know that Debbie Harry is a Stevie fan! :D She performed the Chain at Night of 1000 Stevies a while back and it wa awesome, she had a blonde wig and shawls and everything

Shall we all show some love for Debbie and the Boys?

[DefDumbandBlond]

Yep, ButterCookie got that right!

As well as being a huge FM fan I'm also a huge Blondie/Debbie fan! :D

Autoamerican
The Hunter

I love them all but those are my faves.

My bro and I used to listen to Blondie records all the time, namely Eat to the Beat. Shayla, Union City Blues, Dreaming...such great songs. And along with our Stevie, I think Debbie Harry is one of the most beautiful women who ever walked this earth!!! I bought their 1999 show in NY, I believe the first show of the No Exit Tour and it's a great show!!!

I agree 100% I wish I could find a photo of them together, but for now, photoshop will do

[DefDumbandBlond]

I agree, wheart!

I wish there was a photo of them together too!

[holidayroad]

I've liked Blondie since I was really young (about 6) (1980). One of my favorite songs is Dreaming, but I like a lot of their songs.

[Sleepless-Child]

I'm a Blondie fan ! I had 3 teenage periods : John Frusciante (and the Red Hot Chili Peppers), Blondie, and now FM.
My favorite album is Plastic Letters. I have a 1978 Live, a great one, right before Parallel Lines. I love Parallel Lines too, of course.

Totally love 'er! I think she has just as much performing talent as Stevie or anyone else. I saw an old performance of Blondie's from "The Old Grey Whistle Test" on VH-1 Classic and it was amazing.

[DefDumbandBlond]

They are also releasing a new album this year, really excited for it! :D

[JWS]

Rapture. The first rap song before rap. Rap will never catch on I said in 1981.

"Rapture" is a single by the American new wave band Blondie. It was released in January 1981 and became one of the first substantial hit singles to involve rap music, and the first rap-influenced single to reach number one on the US Billboard Chart.

I love Blondie! Deborah Harry has an amazing voice. I like all their albums pretty much, but Parallel Lines and Eat To The Beat have to be my favourites.

Parallel Lines is just such a classic album, every song is a hit, I like to think of it as "Blondie's Rumours" but Eat To The Beat has some of my favourite Blondie songs on it - Atomic, Dreaming and Union City Blue.

Besides the two hit singles, I also love(d) the song Sunday's Girl. Haven't played this record since the 1980's though.

[DefDumbandBlond]

Will Anything Happen? is one of my favorites off of Parallel Lines :D

AGREED ! This song is amazing, probably one of my favourites.

I watched them on BBC Crown Jewels about 6 years ago, and was starstruck. I knew Call Me and other hits. But this was before they got very famous, so they did quite a few deeper tracks. I have loved them ever since :D but Union City Blue is definitely my favorite song, and Parallel Lines is my favorite album.
