I liked the Jones Beach June 86 stop, where your fave part of HSML went like:

"You go, well, your way wah hah oh no get out get out!!
Well and she says go on! GET OUT! 0h no baby now get away!
But you don't forget me, ooo ooo ooo no, uhuh uhuh uh,
well you don't forget me well, woooo hoo hoo no,
my lonely Wa-ONNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"

I was at this show. The whole show was freakin' incredible. But then again, anything RAL related is awesome to me.

During the wailing part, Stevie was jerking the mic and flailing her head like she really, really meant for him to "get out!" Really.

Rock and roll at it's finest.

Does anyone happen to have the Jones Beach Show from 6-8-86? I was their too, and would love to have it to trigger the ol' memory of such a great tour. Pretty Please.

I have the show on VHS. I have no way of transferring it to DVD at the moment to upload it online. However, this is another great show. One of the best parts is the Edge Walk. Stevie gets so much stuff from the audience she can't hold it all. She motions to the girls to come help her. Apparently, they take too long getting there and Stevie just hurls the stuff across the stage at them.

Thanks for getting back to me anyway. I was at both shows at Jones Beach back to back, but I can honestly say that I don't remember that, see I need help. Ha Ha.

I've had the show since it was originally taped. I really need to put it on a DVD soon. I just keep transferring it from tape to tape to preserve it. I wish I could help you further. Perhaps one day when my technology emerges from the 20th century.

I'm sure there are Ledgies with the technology who'd be willing to help you out with transferring the tape to DVD. My brother can do it but Ireland's a long way to send a precious tape! Let me know if you're interested though :wavey:

it sucks that the only non red rocks video we have from this awseome tour is from what Im aware of incredibly ****ty quality Nebraska show.

And I have the Wantagh New York HSML. It is great, but I'm still putting Dallas at #1. I have one from Sydny thats great quality but it pales to both Dallas and Jones Beach. And AgeOldDesire it is awseome that you were actually at this show, quite an accomplishment in my book. HSML is what makes my signiture but that whole show is probably my favorite Stevie concert I have. Gokd Dust Woman in partioular is a stand out with the second verse starting "Rock on Gold Dust Woman take your silver spoon OOOH I MEAN ANCIENT QUEEN" or something along those lines.

I think Dallas is so good since its at the beginning of the tour when Stevie was still very very wild and forgetting words and adlibbing and making all kinds of noises never heard before or after by anyone really not just Stevie. But it seems later on she got more messy and it just didnt sound good anymore. I can't remember the show im thinking of that I felt sucked i think it is Nebraska.

As far as video for the RAL tour goes, I have five shows: Iowa City, Lincoln, Dallas, Wantagh (Jones Beach) and Daytona Beach. Of these only one (Lincoln) is partially filmed. However, I personally attended the first 3 shows (Houston, Austin, Dallas). Of those three, only Dallas was filmed; but they were all taped for audio.

The quality on my copies are very good because I acquired them, except one, almost right after they were recorded.

This is my favorite tour for many reasons. Mostly because it showcases Stevie at her wildest. Her candle was definitely burning out by the end of the tour. I'm just glad I have these tapes as a memento of what it truly means to rock a little.

You have Daytona Beach 86 video or just audio?

So how many of these does everyone think Stevie is sitting on and not showing anyone?

For some reason my favorite HSML is the one from New York 5-15-1986/
"You go well you go your way, GO ON! GO ON! GET AWAY!!! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!"

Thank you for sharing! God, how I love that coked out passion from Stevie! :p What I'd give to go back in time and see one of her coke fueled performances from the '80s!

I went into listening to this with a bit of a chip on my shoulder. I think the Soundstage version of the song is total sensuous perfection. This version however, is a completely different animal. I totally dig that gritty passion! I wish Stevie still screamed and let loose some of that old passion... :distress:. If she could do it clean and sober for the Street Angel tour, she can do it now! :D

Just make sure that when you (or whoever does it for you) go to transfer to DVD that you use the original tape and not one of the copies. But you probably knew that already :o)

Dallas? Daytona Beach? I never knew video of these existed. Ok, you need to get these out to us very soon!

I doubt if anyone here would know but I went to both the Alpine Valley, WI (5.30.86) and Chicago (6.21.86) shows and could have sworn I saw someone video taping one of them but have never seen any video surface. Anyone else go to either of these or see any of the video?

Towards the end of the song Stevie begins dancing towards stage left and heads over to a fan who hands her a HUGE stuffed bear (looks like Winnie The Pooh) that's as big as Stevie. Stevie embraces the bear and slow dances with it for a few seconds. It's a priceless moment.

The Dallas show is good quality video. Daytona Beach? Not so much. I only have audio of Alpine Valley and Chicago. Unless someone is sitting on them for some reason, as far as I know, no video exists of these shows.

Sorry to bring this up again, but I have been in the trading circle for quite sometime and ive never ever heard of the Daytona footage. Id love to hear more information about it. Also, does your Lincoln copy cut off at Dreams?
