I've noticed some songs from this album popping up in a couple threads lately so I thought I would post the full album. Stevie and Lindsey sing back up on many, if not all, the songs. As far as I know it was never released on cd, so I think it's ok to post here.

Walter Egan- Fundamental Roll

Only the Lucky
Won't You Say You Will
Waitin
Feel So Good
Yes I Guess I Am
When I Get My Wheels
Where's the Part
She's So Tough
Tunnel O'Love
I'd Rather Have Fun
Surfin' & Drivin'

*Edit-
Sorry, didn't know the album was available on itunes. Mods, go ahead and delete the thread.

Does anyone know what album/where Finally Found a Girlfriend came from? I'm absolutely in love with that song!

This was/is great music. Way too underrated. Thanks for giving it a mention.

I agree! I am not intending to diminish Walter's individual talent by saying this, but Stevie and Lindsey are so prominent on this album, as well as 'Not Shy', that it's practically as exciting as discovering a long lost album by them the first time you hear it!

I just got this album, and Not Shy on iTunes for 9.99. 21 songs! It's a great deal...he's a good singer (although I feel sorry for him in some songs) and Stevie's voice is featured heavily in the majority of songs. Lindsey does guitar (and?) production work. Very good stuff!

Fundamental Roll was issued on CD with Not Shy a couple years back. This has been mentioned before but I think the only album that Stevie has sung background on that hasn't been issued on CD is the Tom Snow album. The Robbie Patton album comes out next year. All others have been issued on CD at some point (may not be in print anymore, but are out there).

I've been listening to this album and have been really enjoying it! I had no idea Stevie and/or Lindsey sang backup on every single song! I especially like Stevie's backing vocal on Learning To Love You. These have to be Stevie's and Lindsey's respective best backing vocals of their careers!

I even kinda like the album's rockabilly style... reminds me of the music I'd hear growing up in Austin. Almost makes me wonder how a new country-tinged Mac album might sound! Stevie and Lindsey certainly have the voices for it judging by this!

I love how he let her do all her random wails back then that were so good! It reminds me of the end of Green Manalishi and World Turning from '75 and '76. It's as if Stevie were unsure what to do so she just thought to herself, 'Well I can make this really cool sound with my voice when I yell...' And so she did.

So Good is the best on that album, though.
