Well I think you're not much younger than me, like 5 years or so, so we probably grew up listening to the same music from our parents or whoever. I believe it was my mom who is to blame for me liking and knowing Stevie and The Mac. I just remember being very small and her always having it playing on the stereo. And then about Jr High when I was 14 or 15, there were these other two teenaged girls who lived next door to me in a house we moved into years later, they absolutely loved and worshipped Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac and got me into them all over again and I have been a devout fan ever since and that was like 1987. And those were the days when every girl in school was trying to achieve that perfect Stevie Nicks hair, but never could. As cringing and embarrassing as the late 80's seem sometimes looking back, I'm so happy I was able to be a part of that whole time period and the fads and fashions of the time and the music.

Well i couldn't find a decent clip of Silver Springs on YouTube to post with the story. And the stories are pretty short, ya whinger. ;)

Speaking of audio, do any of you have video you've made of yourselves? I have a couple short vids I made about a year ago I have posted on Youtube (again) after being down a bit. I'm always looking to make more. I just think they're insightful into who we are and it's fun to share that with others.

It's interesting... I grew up in a very musical house too, and most music was just noise to me as well. Fleetwood Mac was definitely the band that called me out of darkness, and awoke my own musical passions. I just wish I had translated that into learning guitar like you apparently have!

Hey Louie,
I got my first guitar when I was 8 or 9. I remember going hardcore at it for 6 months. Then I got bored with it and moved to piano. It didn't pick up a guitar again until i was 17. ;)
