And I don't mean Fleetwood Mac stuff ;)
Books? Weapons? Games? Toys?
Thought it would be interesting to know this about anyone who cares to share.
I've recently begun re-collecting Smurfs.

Books? Weapons? Games? Toys?I collect Beethoveniana -- mostly books, general-interest journals, CDs of course, & even throwaway stuff like T-shirts, jackets, & mugs. I might start collecting Beethoven stamps too.
I also collect letter openers. I have letter openers from all over the world, including a scrimshaw opener from Japan, a teak opener from Ireland, an opener from Israel, & an Old Spanish opener from the early days of California.
I used to collect carnival glass, but that got too expensive & difficult to find.
I collect first editions of books by Miss Manners, Bernard De Voto, & Jacques Barzun.
I also collect The Underground Grammarian pamphlets by Richard Mitchell. I have about 70 percent of them already.

**Josie & The Pussycats **comic book /cartoon (but not the stupid movie) I used to watch the cartoon when I was little in the early '70's /and read the comic book.
**some Garfield/M & M's candy stuff/too much 'junk' as my mom would say....I need to start selling on ebay.....thats probably the main stuff though really....

I collect sea glass. Whenever I go to the ocean I look for it. Most of the pieces are brown, white or green. Blue is rare. If I find a blue one it's like finding gold. I got all my nieces and nephews interested in collecting it too.

I just got this mental image of video taping someone asking a stranger to help them carry a box of rubbers to their car (stranger thinks they are erasers) and on the way you "accidentally" drop them and its a gross of condoms

I love carnival glass and have often thought of starting a collection. Where do you keep yours? When I was a little girl, there was a house I used to pass on the way home from school that had a big window with lots of panes. The owner had different pieces of carnival glass on the pane's shelves. I was so fascinated by that!

My house is FULL of collectibles! I collect Barbie dolls, Fisher Price Little People accessories, video games, video game systems, and arcade based toys. I also have old lunchboxes, Strawberry Shortcake dolls, and Mickey Mouse toys ( not really a collector of them, but have had them a long time!) My husband collects Halloween collectibles and toys from the '60s, and my son collects Power Rangers! We have nowhere near enough space for all of this. Of course, we also have lots of books and music too!! It's an interesting mix!!

As a general rule, I hate "stuff", and like to have as little of it as possible (speaking of that, anyone want a Wild Heart tour program? PM me). That said, I collect Tiki-culture related stuff- memorabilia, historical artifacts, everything. Its a major interest of mine (amongst many.. although this seems to be the only one that involves physical collecting)
Oh, and anything "Mac Tonight".

I had forgotten about these ugly dolls until I was searching retromercials one day. It seemed every kid in school had them, except me. And that was ok really lol.

I found a blue piece about 3 inches long and .75ish inch narrow at Margate beach in NJ. My girfriend had it made into a pendant and the lady who did it said she would have charged a few hundred dollars for it had she not been supplied with the glass.... I can't believe the value attached to it!
funny story: I had never looked for sea glass before, so when I found it I naively said "Is this a good one?" ...you should have seen her face!

Wow, are you telling me people pay money for sea glass? I'm rich, I'm rich!!! Hey, I used to visit my sister in the 1970's when she lived in Margate. What wonderful memories. I haven't been to Atlantic City since 1986!

I've owned 2 DeLorean cars (will get a 3rd one of these days), so I've got loads of DeLorean paraphernalia... scale models, dealer brochures, posters, books, magazine advertisements, newspaper clippings, videos, shirts... lots and lots of junk :D.
I seem to have a small collection of crystal balls going... I'd probably own more if I had more money. Damn things are pricey! That could probably be lumped under the Fleetwood Mac header though, so disregard! :p
I've got a love for most anything mid-century modern... I have funky mod furniture, flip clocks, lamps, stuff like that. I have a thing for the 1960-1990 time period (hence Fleetwood Mac and the DeLorean), and have a growing vintage clothing stash too. Though I wear it everything, so it's not really a collection at all.

I collect art glass - bowls, vases, vessels, jars, etc. I like all colors, but gravitate more toward cool tones, like blues and purples. I also collect some crystal. And jewelry, if that counts.
My parents and extended family will collect about anything: arrowheads, Fenton, Hummels, teapots, bottles, coins, etc.

Used to collect LPs (amassed about 4,000 of them)...then the industry changed to CD format, so I started collecting CDs (up to close to 4,000 of them, too)...still into CD collecting....a LOT!!
Not "collecting" so much as just "acquiring" (since they're "tools of the trade", I don't really consider that "collecting ")...guitars & guitar gear (including amps & effects)...I want lots of them, but can't afford 'em...at least not unless I win the LOTTO, that is!! :)
My Top 10 guitar "wish list" (in no order of preference):
Gibson Les Paul Traditional (honeyburst or "iced tea" finish)
Reverend Jetstream HB (tobacco sunburst finish)
Turner-Renaissance RN-6 acoustic/electric
Gibson ES-335 "Fat Neck" (cherry red finish)
Godin 5th Ave Kingpin (conac burst finish)
Fender "Road Worn" Stratocaster (2 tone sunburst finish)
Fender "Road Worn" Telecaster (2 tone sunburst finish)
Alvarez-Yairi WY1K acoustic (natural koa finish)
Gretsch G6120-DSW-R Chet Atkins Relic (orange over gold finish)
Rickenbacker 360-12 (fireglo finish)

We just went to the Outer Banks in NC this summer and there are a bunch of stores selling sea glass there.
Margate is my Jersey Shore beach of choice... its very clean, there's decent parking, we get there early and then drive 10 mins up the road to Atlantic City for the rest of the day.
For those who have never been there... it's SO worth it to drive a little down the road if you are staying in AC and want to go to the beach.

Donnie Wayne ~
"On, on, U of K, we are right for the fight today,
Hold that ball and hit that line;
Ev'ry Wildcat star will shine;
We'll fight, fight, fight, for the blue and white
As we roll to that goal, Varsity,
We will kick, pass and run, 'til the battle is won,
And we'll bring home the victory."
Yeah, Donnie, I'm a UK grad and originally from Luavull. I don't make it the Derby most years, but my Mom picks up the glasses for me. I've got over a hundreds (lots of duplicates) and have Preakness, Belmont Stakes, and Breeders' Cup glasses too. (I've been to all these races). I have most packed to survive a big LA quake.
