I have 5 or 6 remixes/alternative versions of "Everybody finds out" and would love to find either a demo or a longer version, since I feel that the song fades out when it just getting started.

But I've never seen anything come up.

This is an Everybody Finds Out demo with just bass and drum machine, pretty much straight, unedited vocals.

I also have a very similar Illume with just bass and drums and some LB backings as well as another Illume with some vocal enhancements and guitar and percussion add ins... I will post them as well

There's also all of the Old Gift of Screws tracks that pretty much had some Stevie vocals laid onto them and got put on the album...that is pretty much every LB track on the album. I could post those as well if you dont have them, but they are nearly identical in most cases

So we're calling selective mixes culled from the DVD-Audio 5.1 SYW release "demos" now?

I didn't mean to sound snippy- I was just confused at first.

So are there any real demos from this album? And I don't mean the center channel mixes, or recordings of SYW songs that happened before the SYW sessions.

To my knowledge, none have surfaced. I really want the demo version of Silver Girl. It sounded so much better than the finished product!

Here's a Running Through the Garden demo but its from 1985, so it may not be what you're looking for. I love this version so much, though.

As far as I know, none of Stevie's four demos that she brought to the band and the ones that appeared in the Destiny Rules documentary ("Silver Girl", "Destiny Rules", etc) have ever been in circulation amongst the fan community. I don't think any of Lindsey's demos have surfaced either, at least not in any form other than the GOS project, although I might be wrong.

The last time any demos circulated from Stevie were the TISL demos back in 2001. As we all know, Stevie and Dave wrote 90% of IYD together and just started recording as they wrote. The vault songs from that project were of course circulating for decades prior.

Not sure about Under The Skin or Seeds We Sow. Maybe the Lindsey aficionados can answer that one.

There's the TISL outtake of "Thrown Down" too. I love that version.

I'm not sure if you mean two demos of the song "Trouble in Shangri-La" or two demos of "Thrown Down" from the Trouble in Shangri-La album sessions, however everything should be here on the page of former ledgie Welcomechris: http://fleetwoodmacfans.blogspot.it/2014/02/trouble-in-shangri-la-outtakes-and-demos_20.html
