House on the hill

This may be a dumb question, but where is the house in the video for 'Big Love' located? I've wondered for about 25 years now!

I once read it somewhere. Wasn't it a kind of a clubhouse for magicians or something somewhere in the Hollywood Hills ?

I always thought it was Christine's house.

It's defintely not the magic castle...

I want to say its just outside Encinitas. That's just from vague memory.

I'd love to know myself.
