So on Travel channel there is this marathon of this show called Ghost Adventures. It's a group of 3 guys that get locked in some haunted locale after extensive research. You all know the show I'm talking about? It's kind of cool- even though I don't know if I really believe it. They show pieces of evidence throughout. What do you all think?

I believe that the host Zak is really dumb... but really hot :D. Otherwise... no. I believe I've encountered paranomal activity a couple times in my life... but it's been completely random, and it's not something you can wait around for or call upon.

I sat through that entire 7 hour live lockdown last night. Zak is the biggest drama queen. Bossing everyone around and telling everyone to shut up so he can hear his own voice shouting at the spooks.

They have captured some interesting "evidence" over the past year or so. Is it real or Memorex? I'm not sure. But Nick is fun to watch. He can possess me anytime. Did I just say that? Oops. The Devil made me do it.

I do like watching these shows.....but I am always a skeptic ....I really pick apart the 'evdience' when its shown...wheather its GA or Ghost Hunters or Paranormal State......Those are probably the main 3 I watch....I've seen the 'new' Ghost Lab....but those investigors really bug me. Esp the 2 main guys.....they think there the cats meow when it comes to investigating....like there the 'best' out there. Very arrogant.....ok lets not hide it .....not buying there crap. They don't have really any personalities. Really don't like the other new show Extereme Paranormal. One of the guys kinda creeps me out......I do like these shows but sometimes they just take things way too far. I used to love Mtv's Fear & Vh1's Celeb Paranormal shows. Fear was cool but you knew some of it had to be staged cause they weren't gonna pay all those people for spending the whole night there 5,000.00 each. They had to get rid of them some how. Plus if you notice on most of these shows they do use music to enhance the scary effect of whats going on. I hate this cause you can't hear anything. I did watch most of the GA's live thing but taped the rest.....yeah they can be over the top too. At least I like most of the guys personalities on this show & some of them on GH and GHI but some do bug me. I liked Ghost Hunters in the beginning with Donna & Brian....he was funny. Steve & Tango are ok......but Steve does get on my nerves too. With Brian , yeah he caused problems etc. but at least he seemed human.....everyone has issues to deal with. Its harder to deal with the living than the dead really(IMO)......Too me of all the yrs I've watched GH's (although I know this is suppose to be about GA's show....sorry)......theres maybe only like 5 shows that really stand out ......I'd say most of these shows are boring really.......I guess I shouldn't watch them......but the excitement of hearing an EVP/or seeing some image is interesting.......but like I stated I do pick all of these shows apart......forgot to mention Most Haunted too.....interesting but really a bunch of crap.....everyone's always scared and screaming......that I never see any evidence at all.....I think its funny just to watch them......LOL.......anyway.....they can have there moments but.......I also watched the GH's live thing but really that was boring too.......Jason & Grant could've answered many more questions.....it was lame to me......Not sure if I really want to see this other 'new' show either called Ghost Hunters Acadamy......that might be boring/lame too maybe only the first one......not sure......Oh yeah, Jason Hawes of Taps I think did work on the MTV Fear show....but not for sure how many shows or if it was the whole time it was on? If you go to the TAPS web site....he makes a comment about it.....I forget the section though right now......anyway....sorry I went on and on....I think its the locations that interest me more at times esp abadoned Hospitals etc....like Waverly Hills in KY......that place is interesting......I love to learn the history to these places.......anyway.....here I go again rambling on......:sorry::shrug:

I do find myself catching Paranormal State every Mon. or Tues., and I just find myself rolling my eyes.

I’m very open to strange phenomena (have read and enjoyed Shirley MacLaine’s books) but I haven’t seen anything on the show that has convinced me yet.

Example - recently, there was an episode where Ryan B. and gang investigate a haunted house. They went out in the surrounding woods for ‘dead time’ at night and their camera caught a quick running movement behind the bushes. Ryan and fellow investigator Sergey express shock and amazement, and continue to after viewing the film. I’m sorry, but guys, it was SOOOO obviously a deer! You can see it’s big rump.

At first, I thought the show would take a scientific skeptical approach, but it’s turning into Ryan B. as Father Merrin Jr. complete with holy water and casting out of demons.
And I really wonder about the so-called psychics they bring in.

I’m not discounting the experiences of the people on the show at all, but the way it’s presented, I’m not convinced so far. So much of it is hyped. Well, it is a tv show and it’s about entertainment and ratings after all. They have to deliver on the goods.

I'm super skeptical, but I'm sure its mostly because my mom thinks she can talk to dead people. She is CONSTANTLY watching ghost shows.... whenever she isn't watching a ghost show, she's talking to ghosts herself or telling me about all the "drifting souls" that wander around my 100-year-old house. She's just totally burned me out an all paranormal crap.
