Hey Ledgie friends!!

You guys have been so cool to me since I joined!

I'd just like to ask any of you who believe in prayer to remember me on Monday (Nov.2). I am having bariatric surgery to try and improve my pain level with the crippling arthritic disease I have. I am pretty nervous, but, I have faith this will ease some of the pain. I am doing everything I can to stay on top of this disease. So, if you don't mind, please remember me.

I'm planning on trying to find an awesome Mac or Stevie/Christine pic to hang in my room during my hospital stay..LOL...any reccomendations would be much appreciated:)

gypsy4life, i wish you a as short as possible stay in the hospital and a quick recovery to follow will keep you in my thoughts on monday!

Surgery is a prime way to relieve yourself of the pain. Recovery is slow but it's not forever. With the prayers to God you will feel better. Us Ledgies are with you and we wish you the best.

Thanks for these nice messages. I had my pre-surgery appointments today, and am ready to go. I'm nervous, but, hopeful for good results.

Good Luck with your surgery!!!
Last time I went under the knife was 10 years ago(WOW that seems forever ago). When I was 9 I got my tonsisles taken out as well as my adenoids(whatever those are). Nothing major.

Surgery is tomorrow!!! I'm getting scared, and hoping I'm doing the right thing. Please remember me in your prayers. I will keep you posted.

UPDATE: Thank you for all the well wishes. However, big change of plans. Due to the special diet they put me on prior to surgery, I had a counteraction with my medication and became VERY ill last night. So, I couldn't have my surgery today:(

I am thinking very seriously about what to do from here. I have had a terrible day today, and am trying to recover.
