16 months,

A year and you're already moving in? Are you confident it will go well?

Otherwise I wouldn't be doing it

I'm not trying to be negative or pessimistic, I just want to know more about your relationship. :)

How long is long enough though? In days gone by people didn't live together until they got married and it still seemed to work. I moved in with my then g/f after about 9 months...ten years later she hasn't left me yet -

Wow, all kinds of stress. Moving is a chore, packing up all your stuff and making tough decisions on what to keep and what to get rid of.
I will miss my little Brooklyn apartment, it was the only apartment that was ever 'mine' and it was fun and gratifying making it work when some felt I couldn't make it on my own.

But now I won't be on my own, because I am moving in with someone that I love and who loves me. I have anxiety about the whole settling in process, but I have faith it will all click together quick.

The movers come tomorrow morning at 10:00, next stop is an apartment on the upper east side with an East River view. Please no one wake me from this dream....

CONGRATS on your new move and your new step in life! The moving part is always a lot of hard work, but once you get settled in, you'll reap all of the rewards! Lots and lots of good luck!

Hugs,

Arlene

I'll be thinking of you- moving sucks terribly, but settling in is fun. You and H have a lot going for you and the time is now to live your life! xoxo

Hi chriskisn...I finally have to ask, now that I remember... is your sceenname on here a Taking Heads reference?
