Im thinking you could watch it heres the http://sixtyminutes.ninemsn.com.au/ website link
its shown on Sunday night in Australia so it should be available for viewing after this time.
There was a guy (interviewer) on the radio yesterday talking about meeting them and he was saying how down to earth they all were. He went out to Stevies home and she had made sandwiches for him. He said she was so nice and wouldnt stop talking so he had to cut the interview back. He also spoke about going to Lindsays home and again, layback. He was just a regular dad as his kids came home from school and he was getting them ready for tennis lessons.
Mick also showed him around his Hawaiian home and his studio.
cant wait to see it, saw a glimps on the add and it looks really cool.

Stevie made him sandwiches:laugh:. I don't think she made them. I think she served them. But goodness, if they ever gave us footage of Stevie in the kitchen making sandwiches, we wouldn't need an interview to go along with it. The sandwiches would be more than enough. Michele

Yeah, I'm a bit incredulous about that too. But then again, Stevie did wander around babbling and bragging about being the only one in the band who knew how to make coffee in the Tusk Doc. Maybe she still does hold on to a few domestic skills to make herself feel normal? I just find it hard to envision her making a sandwich tho when she even uses Karen to read and respond to her emails, drags her along shopping and dining out so she can pay and open the doors, etc .

Michael Usher with Stevie Nicks at her home in LA. Stevie made everyone feel welcome and had organised delicious platters of food for the crew. That was very generous and thoughtful for a superstar!
He did say on the radio programme she made sandwiches for the crew but here its seems that she 'organized' the food so dont think she actually made them.

Michael Usher - Fleetwood Mac

A nice plate of sandwiches, a smooth glass of red wine and endless offers of fresh bottled water.
Sounds like a pleasant brunch, a casual weekend get together, but certainly not the hospitality I'd expected from three musicians whose sex drugs and Rock'n'Roll lifestyle in the 1970's made them legends.
I'm talking about Fleetwood Mac. Earlier this week, I returned from Los Angles and Hawaii where I caught up with Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham.
Now to understand the band's history and music, you first have to get your head around these three members of the band. Their lives have been a rollercoaster. Stevie and Lindsay were lovers and broke up, and ever since have had a love-hate relationship. Stevie and Mick had a lengthy affair - that started in Australia by the way - and today call each other soul-mates. Stevie and Mick also happened to have spent most of the late 70's and 80's hooked not only on each other but drugs, especially cocaine. "Booze, cocaine, dope, booze, cocaine, dope," Mick told me when he was describing that time of his life.
These days, their lives are very different. They're clean, loving their music again and, after 34 years, liking each other enough to tour again.
In fact, for all their personal turmoil over the past few decades, they've always come together for the music. They may not have been speaking with each other at times, but what they had to say they said in song. And luckily for us, that meant great classics that made Fleetwood Mac one of the biggest-selling, most popular bands of all time.
Lindsey Buckingham was our first interview at his beautiful home in L.A. He has his own recording studio beneath his garage so we set up there for the interview. Lindsay's about to turn 60 next month but married for the first time 10 years ago and has three young children. A few of them popped their head in on the interview after getting home form school. You can tell Lindsey is loving being a dad, as much as he loves playing his music. He rightly has been hailed as the creative force behind Fleetwood Mac, especially the 'Tusk' and 'Tango in the Night' albums.
After the interview, Lindsey was good enough to pull out one of his many guitars and play us two songs, 'Never Going Back Again' and 'Big Love". He plays beautifully and, as many of his fans know, has enjoyed a successful solo career away from Fleetwood Mac. And here's some trivia – you remember that movie "National Lampoon's Vacation" with Chevy Chase? Well Lindsey wrote and performed the film's catchy theme song "Holiday Road".
Our next interview was a little way down the road in an equally nice area of L.A., at Stevie Nicks' home. And what a host she was, an open kitchen, fresh sandwiches, anything you wanted. Lucky there were supplies, because this lady loves to talk, and so do I. Our main interview ran almost one hour overtime and nothing was off limits.
Her 10-year cocaine binge, her love life with Lindsey and Mick, the music, her solo career – the lot – we talked about it all. Stevie likes to be open and candid because she hopes her life might be a lesson to some of the Hollywood starlets making a mess of their private lives at the moment. This woman has been through it all, survived, is still singing and loving life. And Stevie can't wait to tour Australia.
Next stop was the Hawaiian island of Maui that Mick Fleetwood has called home for a few years now. He has a magnificent lodge half way up a mountainside with sweeping views of the surf below. And here he can go hell for leather on the drums and there isn't a neighbour within hearing range who can complain. And Mick did just that for us. He hit the kit -belting away with all the power and emotion that helped him form this legendary band way back in the 60's.
Fleetwood Mac has reinvented itself a few times over, but Mick has always been there steering it through, finding new members and convincing the old ones to come back. And, in between gigs with Mac, he has a blues band that tours the world.
Mick like Lindsey loved and lost Stevie Nicks, and late in life also married and started again with a new family and young children.
Like Stevie, Mick was incredibly gracious with his time. We spent hours with him as he told Fleetwood Mac's turbulent tale and explained the often tortured inspiration behind the band's music. These days, Mick doesn't touch drugs but he does have a vineyard in California, so to help lubricate the interview he had a bottle of his favourite Pinot Noir within arm's reach.
It was a great experience talking with these music legends. The drummer, the guitarist and their Queen of Rock'n'Roll. They've got a story to tell and don't mind telling it. They were refreshingly honest, and generous. And without a single new song to plug, they're just enjoying being back together, touring the world, and performing the songs that made them superstars.

Yeah, poor Karen has to open all the email attachments of Lindsey's kids.
Alas, Hamburger Helper and omelets was probably the extent of Stevie's cooking, but I can really see her fixing a sandwich. Lori Nicks even mentioned Stevie's sandwich making skills on the nicksfix site:
Stevie really doesn’t have alot of time to cook.... but if we can get her to, she makes one heck of a sandwich!! (It’s all about the sauces she makes...)

Ha! All I know is suddenly it's getting to be a very crowded room for the 90 year olds... I mean, first she's on a bed with Lindsey and now she's watching movies with Mick... *sigh* poor Kristen and Lynn... they'll be stuck running the Maui Medical Center for Mystified Musicians.

After watching it, I'd say it was pretty good. Nothing really new...its still all about Rumours :p... but I still liked it. I agree... I was getting annoyed with the show until that bit. I think it's so awesome after all these years, and all they've been through that they're soulmate friends.
It's interesting to hear too that Mick is ALSO acknowledging that it's been the toughest the past decade to get the band on the same page, and to get them together. Lindsey just said that too. Obviously it's something that we've all bitched about for eons... but it's good to know that the band at least acknowledges it.

This is definitely nothing we haven't heard before, but there are some moments that I particularly like:
"Waitress. CLEANING lady. We had one hundred dollar bills EVERYWHERE."
Stevie's random noise at 6:42. Hahahahahahaha!
Also, I like how the huge hole in her nose that threatened her life is now the little hole in her nose that threatened her voice. :)
I also appreciate Lindsey's use of "transcends". Everytime he says it, I smirk.
But yes-- I think the questions re: her current relationships with both Lindsey and Mick are very interesting. The bitter still exists with the former, I think, and that may be why we tend to get the most music about him-- the most powerful and debatably influential at that.
And Mick's reaction to that comment.... I love it. LOVE it.
Kinda like I loooooooooooooooooooooove everything about those three people.

I totally forgot to mention last night how much I loved this part. I'll admit to welling up a little - Mick just seemed so touched and then so sincere in his response. A very nice moment indeed.

Well technically she is a bit of a hobbit compared to mick!
But overall his reaction was so sweet...
Also, it appears stevie forgot exactly when she went to rehab....
She says she went in 1985, but didn't she check in adfter the RAL world tour in '86...

Really though, there is an eight year span between those two statements...I can only imagine what has gone on between them in that time for things to change the way those statements seem to reflect. They've been spending a lot of time together while on tour...maybe they can only be friends and get along when they don't see each other

Yep. They weren't friends when they were lovers. They didn't have that base relationship to begin with, at least not after Fritz.
And today, while Stevie, Mick and Lynn can probably all socialize, I imagine a soiree with Lindsey, Stevie and Kristen would become mighty awkward, mighty fast.

Yes, if the tv producers had no interest in him, I would be highly insulted. But I'm guessing it's more likely that John didn't want to be bothered, which is fine, but . . . I'm not sure why the other 3 have to do all of the P. R. work if he's getting 25%. Oh well, maybe they take it out in trade.

Mick's lump-in-the-throat moment reminded me of his other lump-in-the-throat moment in the 1990 Rocksteady interview. Remember that?

Ive always felt that stevie and Mick are 'old souls' and definately soul mates, theyre been together may times/lifes before Im sure. Ive also felt that Lindsay has maybe a little too much ego for these wise old souls. just my opinion!

Nothing new in the interview (funny to me how Stevie looks almost exactly the same in any interview- the way she sits, the camera angle...but I digress).
It *was* worth it for the acknowledgment of her relationship with Mick and his reaction. I view Stevie and Lindsey as a divorced couple who maintain civility for the "children" (the band). Like a divorced couple, they probably wouldn't have anything to do with on another if not for the band, etc. I think there actions on stage are planned and for our benefit.

LOL...but thinking of them as a divorced couple makes me sad!!! I like to think that there will always be something that brings them back together (and I'm not talking about FM :p )
As much as I hate to admit it, what they do on stage may very well be planned for our benefit...but I just want to say that they have more than broken my little shipper heart of late...interaction between the two has been relatively nonexistent (except for that half-hearted head on shoulder thing during Sara). They are the ones who have perpetuated that relationship all these years...either because they enjoy it or because they know we love it...I wish they would get with the program and keep up their end of the bargain so that we (or I) could squeeeee over them

No, I don't remember. What was he upset about? Talking about the SS fight?

Oh, I think they're deeply connected and that's why they still bother each other so much. They'll never be friends, but they'll never be strangers. They'll never be able to not care.

No, they will never be friends...there is too much between them to ever just be friends. I think thats one of the many reasons why I love them so much...everything is just so complicated. (yes, I'm aware of how sick that sounds :p )

well put! I love Stevie's definite, matter-a-fact answers she gives, especially the one about 'ol Linds. She's not always quite that direct in interviews but when she is, I love it!!
And what was up with her outfit? I liked that white layer underneath. And it looked as if she was wearing shoulder pads, or was that just my eyes playing tricks with me? Anyway, whatever that get up was (LOL), it looked great.

I think that they have plenty of emotion toward on another, but that it is not happy emotion and that obviously their hurt is deep. They really do need to throw some shipper bones, I agree. ;)

In the other interview, she said the blouse was by an Australian designer. I think she said it had lace all up the back.

 Stevie knows how to MAKE the sauce for the sandwich?

i would PAY to be a fly on the wall at that kinda gathering...
Stevie - well, i loved him FIRST...before he was famous and had any money. i don't care about money. imma rock star. what's your profession this week?
Kristen: i'm a mother, it's my calling. i was born for it
Stevie: me too, i'm mother to my puppies. speakin of... KAREN, where's Sara BellaDonna? would you take her for her walk now.

I'm getting scared for those dogs. Stevie's done two interviews where it's pretty obvious she only has one. She's like defiant about it: "I have a dog!" Singular.
Ok one died, but didn't she have 3? Did the other one drop dead too? They are falling fast.
Anyway, as for Stevie and Kristen, when the Unleashed tour promotion started off they did say Lindsey was at Stevie's house for an interview and his wife was there taking pictures. That's really funny to think about it, especially if Kristen was using a flash. That would have been driving Stevie absolutely insane. Michele

^lol...she couldn't even let him go to Stevie's house alone for an interview??? Of course she was taking pictures...I seriously doubt it was a social just to check in and say hi...she needed some kind of an excuse to be there  "Don't pay me any attention...I'm just here to document this terribly important moment in FM history with my camera...just pretend like I'm not even here" :p:p:p

I'm sure the photos were Polaroids that Stevie snagged immediately to put in her journal that night as she wrote yet another angst ridden lyric about her hate-love-but-really-hate relationship with Kristen's husband who she unfortunately cares about very much.

I believe LB said his wife wrote the lyrics on LRD and "helped with the structure" of DYMM. Amazing, isn't it?
