My luck is not so good when it comes to Wild Heart rings. My cousin ordered us both matching ones (back in July) from the Enchanted Mirror website, and we STILL have not received them!! It makes me angry, because when she emails the lady, she just gets a message saying it will be a little longer.

I don't mind waiting a resonable amount of time, but this is way too long!! I am starting to think we are never going to get them:distress:

Sharon, I totally agree. I can't say enough good things about Kelly from Camia's. I ordered the crescent moon and pendant necklaces and got them really quickly. My boyfriend ordered me the Stevie cuff bracelets for Christmas. Being a guy, he ordered too late to get them for Christmas but Kelly contacted him right away and advised him how long it would be (3 weeks) and whether that was acceptable. I had them when she promised and they are beautiful. I always receive compliments on all of my items from Camia's.

I'm saving up for a few other things from her as well.

I've not really heard good things about some of the other Stevie sellers so I've stayed away. I just don't think it is reasonable to wait months for something you order unless the seller is up front about the length of time it will take to ship something out. I totally understand if the piece is handmade and labor intensive. But I don't think the jewelry on Enchanted Mirror is handmade.

my mom ordered a velvet beret from her as well. She ordered it in August thinking it would be more than enough time to get here by November (for my birthday). November came and went. "oh it will just be a little longer" December came and went. "my hat maker is out". Same with January, but a different excuse....it took until February to get a hat she initially told me would take four weeks. I had ordered something from her previosly and been very pleased with her service, but this order has been a complete joke. I would say I've exchanged close to 20 emails with her at this point, and she apologizes profusely and tells me it will be just a little longer every time. One of the times, she even named a specific upcoming date she would be mailing it.......but nothing. I have been nothing but politely direct with her, but she has essentially stolen $50 from me at this point. I've told her that if she can no longer obtain the rings from "her jeweler", to please just give me a refund. She promised to do that via PayPal a few months ago, and still nothing. It's too bad because she was so good to me throughout that first order (in 2006), and has beautiful things. BUT BE WARNED. As much as I want to take care of my fellow Ledgies, I told her I understand that "stuff happens" and that I would refrain from posting here as long as she did the right thing. But she continues to fail me, so I'm layin' it out there! Best of luck to those of you in the same boat as me. :distress:

yeah and is anyone else STILL WAITING for 3 more issues of her fanzine that came out almost 2 YEARS AGO???? People only received one issue and she basically has stolen 100$ from anyone that ordered that fanzine. I had emailed her many many months ago, and her assistant said that Barbara was ever so conveniently away at some seamstress class and that the second issue would be out soon. I asked for a refund. Anyways, you know that "flying heart" necklace I was talking about (on page one of this topic)? Well, I ordered it on Tuesday and I got it today! Talk about speediness. It's awesome and it's the exact same thing as what's on Enchanted Mirror except I actually got mine!

If you want a Wild Heart themed necklace, get this one. It's great!

Just be warned that I've made several attempts at that as well. I was very nice (despite the 18 months that had passed since my order) and told her I would understand if her life is too crazy or she no longer has certain items available. No harm done as long as I get my money back. I told her we could do it via PayPal to make it easy as pie for her. NOTHING, after several months. The only way to get a refund would be to drive to her house and knock on the door! (If you live near her and that is feasible for you, do report back as to what happens!;))

Hello, I do not normally post on here, I'm a silent "Ledgie" :) However, I have been reading this thread, and I felt the need to say something. I had purchased one of the less expensive moon necklaces from the Enchanted Mirror about a year and a half ago. It took about a month and a half to receive, and she threw in nice demo cd with it.

Pleased with my experience, I ordered one of the more expensive moons, the pyramid, and a lariat. I was hoping to get them before the Stevie concert in Toledo at the end of that month, but it indeed took me 9 months to receive them. I followed up with emails every so often, and like everyone else, she was very nice and explained that it would be just a little longer. Then about 6 months later, I received a response from someone else, letting me know that Barbara was taking classes, but she assured me I would receive them.

However, after another month, I really started to worry, so I emailed again. That's when the email responses stopped. I emailed several times and heard nothing. I called the Better Business Bureau to see what all I would need to do, just in case I had to resort to that.

I finally starting messaging Barbara on Myspace, letting her know that I was attending the concert in Pittsburgh, and I really was hoping to have them by then. I had to stay on top of her, and she accidentally sent my order to someone else, but lo and behold, she did get them to me the night before the concert. I was very pleased with the package, as she threw in a nice card and some extra goodies.

Although I love the jewelry, I do not recommend going through her, as it is not worth the worry. I am now going through the same thing with some demos I ordered from someone...just hoping that I get them before 9 months...

This makes sense. I remember reading that she was a Ledgie and then decided to leave or something....? Either way, I'm fairly open minded about this entire thing. She's well aware that I have a specific due date for my order and we'll see what happens from there :shrug:

I'm not saying anything bad about her as a person, she was always friendly to me.
I'm saying it took her many months (with tons of excuses)
to get me something she had said would only take 3-4 weeks....

we have many threads about ole babs & her business dealings~ i know people like her on the "other" board, & she only comes here when that board is down, tho i suspect she still reads what is posted about her business dealings here~ i have only heard of a handful of peeps who ever actually received there order from her~ & me myself have been ripped off by her & will tell anyone who wants to know so it won't happen to them also~
