This was not a joke. Stevie was on Letterman in the 90's (not sure of date) and they were talking about it. She said she had no idea what went on at the time because she was in Australia with Petty & Dylan. She told Dave that once she found out, she FIRED them! :nod:

I was interning at Modern at the time....Paul Fishkin talked to Jimmy Iovine about it DAILY! They thought it was GREAT press.....ROCK A LITTLE's sales were already slowing down, so they figured any press was good press!
