Even though according to Carol Ann she and Lindsey just made fun of Stevie all day and Lindsey never once looked away from CA's beautiful inner light etc, who cares. Look at Stevie's face! That's what matters. I'm reading Carol Ann's book over again for reasons I do not know, and she totally slams our girl about some dumb thing she said in her speech, but she fails to mention what a good day it was for pictures!

Sorry to say this but THIS JERK you're talking about is someone I know very good for years now and he's a very very nice guy. Bill Paustenbach was the one who took the picture but sold the copyrights to THIS JERK...so he has ALL RIGHTS to sell this photo for the price he wants because it's rare and he has the copyrights! He NEVER ever cheated on Stevie fans or whatever so I think every single one should decide on its own if he wants to buy from this seller or not! I can recommend this seller VERY MUCH! But he's not selling at the moment (even though his eBay auctions are up) because of heavy blows in the family.

I think these must be from December 1990 in either Oakland or Los Angeles when Lindsey made a guest appearance at the last 2 shows of the Behind The Mask tour.

These were from the "Shake the Cage" tour with Billy & Rick. Lindsay did several shows on this tour, and only came out for a handfull of songs, in these pics, it was Landslide. Bob welch also came out, and did Hypnotized, as well as Peter doing Oh Well, this was during the 25 yrs: The Chain era, when FM was celebrating it's time
together as a band....These pix of Stevie were very much in the moment of her klonopin days....and looking back, I can see it now. I've had the top pic since it was taken, and was blown away to see it posted! It is a nice pic of them from this time, although I Thank God every day Stevie got help, or we may have lost her...she looks better now, and she's older even!

Speaking of "Tear It Up," we never talk about "Tear It Up" on the 1990 tour. The band played it pretty darn well! Stevie Nicks used to bop up & down, bouncing her prerogatives around. Christine played her shuffle blues-rock licks, only it wasn't a shuffle rendition. Rick & Billy sounded good on this old stuff.

Since Stevie and Lindsey have been together SO long, I would think they've been interactive in each other's families...are there any pics floating around of Stevie with Lindsey's fam? or Lindsey with Stevie's fam?.....just wondering:shrug:

Well, there's video from after AHI where Lindsey, Stevie and others are doing press, standing around Barbara and Barbara is talking about her fundraising efforts. She says she's dedicated to the Heart Institute because of both her and her husband, but she is also saying that Lindsey has a history of heart disease in his family as well.

I don't have any pictures but I do remember reading that when Lindsey was on tour for, I believe, the "Gift of Screws", when he was in Phoenix, he dedicated a song to Barbara Nicks. She was in the audience that night. I think it's great to hear that Stevie's mom is so close to Lindsey that she would go to one of his solo shows. It makes sense since they were a part of each other's family for so long.

As for the original photo, as much as I love the Buckingham Nicks site it always amused me that the other band members were photoshopped out of all the photos. The only sad thing about that is that I now see them all over the internet like that. Personally I prefer seeing the original photos where the band hasn't been cropped out.

It was! This issue from 1977 to be precise:

I've had that bootleg album, among others, for about twenty-something years. I recall that I bought it at a record store. Independent record stores were much more prevalent then, before the big box corporates took over. It was common to find bootleg albums among official releases. You could also get them mail order, if you found a good dealer in the classified ads.

These were incredible treasures to find/have, being it was at a time long before the internet and electronic files. There was far less accessible unreleased/live product; and what was out there were often low-fi, low-tech recordings on cassette tapes.

In 1981 on a radio interview (Stevie was on the phone) -- I think it was WMMS in Cleveland -- Stevie talked about this particular batch of songs, claiming that she thought she knew who took her tapes because this batch was all taken at once, & she thought she knew which house she was living in at the time. The DJs proceeded to play CATHOUSE BLUES on the air! Stevie was a little ... aghast ... at that, but covered her shock nicely by saying that it was rotten sound quality & that she'd prefer to have sent the radio station clean copies of these songs. She was definitely put out about the songs being out -- AND being put on the air. It was probably the first she knew of her demo tapes being in in such wide circulation.
