Need Some Die Hard Fan Input

[gypsy4life]

I am begining to collect Stevie/ Fleetwood Mac DVDs, and I need a little fan help.... I have been a fan of these awesome people my entire 30 years of life!!! I have collected a few concerts, and would like to get my hands on the best concert/video/anything worthwhile DVDs of Stevie/The Mac

I already own: The Dance, FM Live in Boston, The Soundstage DVD (stevie), and Stevies's HBO Belladonna tour

Any suggestions for adding to my collection? (and maybe where they can be purchased)

Thanks guys!!

Destiny Rules documentary definatly!!! And then you have Stevie Nicks live at the US festival 1983, but the quality isn't that great though and it's sad but Stevie is awesome and sooo funny!!! Tango In The Night concert...and thern it's also amazing and great to have the Rumours tour backstage videos that aren't at any shops but I have them! Got them trading on this page: http://kathryn.lambe.googlepages.com/ her name is Sahara here on The Ledge :) But the other great dvd's I listed here I guess can be bought at Amazon or some other internet shop :)

Good Luck!

you get Stevie Nicks: Live at Red Rocks from the mid 80s. She is so wild in this video. It is during her coke years but is awesome to watch just to see her work the stage.

the Tusk documentary

I agree, you NEED the Mirage concert!
Stevie before the Klonopin, Lindsey before he left, all of them before they got old(er), imo the last time FM truely rocked on video.

Is the Mirage video available commercially?

[Erin]

^^
No it's not, I have the producto de brasil dvd. With Gipsy, Riannon, and the cover of the band from the Behind the Mask days. But at least it's somewhat decent quality.

WORD!! It's my favorite FM DVD. It's a crying shame they edited out (not very well) about 2/3 of the show!!! But still, it's wonderful.

I know... what's up with that?! Ugh.

But at least the epic SOTM performance is in there.

The Mirage Concert video, I was there the 1st nite u see Stevie get wild on SOTM & The Chain & Gypsy....This show is 2 nites spliced. If you watch closely, one nite Stevie blow dried her hair fwd. (the wild night), the 2nd, she blew it back (feathered).....The 2nd video that is a must is the White Wing Dove Stevie Nicks solo concert for the Bella Donna tour....then I'd go with Live at Red Rocks...then The Dance.

This is the ultimate, I was there the 1st nite, my 1st ever concert, and I've not missed one tour since....FM ROCKS!

destiny rules...well, rules!

I really need to expand my own collection!!

If you can find a dvd on ebay called Fleetwood Mac Greatest Preformances it has about 36 songs from early 70's Fleetwood Mac live ... and preformances from the Midnight Special and Mirage Tour and some extra footage.. it's great stuff!

[steviefan59]

well the only legal dvd that no one has mentioned is crystal visions...i loved this dvd bc it gave us a legitimate copy of all of stevie's videos plus the edge video which i was trying to get for years...this came out 2 years ago and i love it...hugs pat

Okay, I was about to post this EXACT same thread.

I have Destiny Rules, The Dance, the making of Rumours, Live in Boston and Crystal Visions. I know I want the Mirage DVD (I used to have it but lost it!), the Tusk Documentary and Red Rocks. I have no idea where to get Mirage & Tusk-- help anyone?

Also, where can I get all of the suggestions you have that are not commercially available? Anything I should be specifically looking for if I really want some good documentaries and stand-out live performances? I don't need EVERYTHING ever recorded, but if there's a specific show that has an insane rendition of any one song, I would be interested.

Thanks for your help!
