Anyone watch the match? Anyone lucky enough to go to the game? I miss going to Wimbledon, that would have been the best match to see.

What a great match! And such a great moment for Roger Federer breaking the men's grand slam singles title record and reclaiming the #1 rank in the world. He is quite inspiring.
Andy was quite a fierce competitor, nearly flawless in his service game. His overall game has improved so much over the past year. I think he's really matured as an elite tennis player, knowing how to stay focused while keeping his cool during tense moments. I think we'll see more great matches from him in the coming months.

Me too! I was hoping Andy would pull it off. As SpyNote wrote--his game has improved so much. I thought he just might pull it off.

I was really hoping for Andy to win. It's quite an accomplishment just to go that long without being broken, but it would have been nice to see him take home that trophy. I like Federer a lot, but sometimes it gets a little boring knowing he's probably going to be the one to win.

And what makes Federer ever better is the man seems to have no ego at all. A true gentleman. NEVER talks **** about an opponent. You know, usually after what happened to Federer last year at Wimbledon, losing his invincibility to the clay king Nadal, I wouldve thought he migh be on the way down. Its quite unusual for something like that to happen to a great athlete and for them to bounce back like he did. Of course, it did t hurt that Nadal was upset at the French either.
