Here are some Stevie wails someone created. Can someone possibly make some Gold Dust Woman wails combining a bunch of 'em from the Unleashed Tour?

What a great audio! Stevie blessing us with her best Regans! The day she forsake her Reganizing was the day I minimized her window.
Now all we need to do is ID the clips.

Obviously, it's doesn't contain any Unleashed tour but most all up through 2005 Gold Dust Tour.

Well, this was very exciting to watch and to listen to. When you posted this I had no idea there would be video accompaniment. Very well done! And thank you for the various clips that were new to me. I wish someone could tell me how to isolate certain parts of songs on a computer. Then I could make the GDW wails from the Unleashed Tour that IMO are the best wails she's ever done for GDW and share them with all of you.

I might have some time soon to go through my files and see what I can isolate out and take a stab at editing them together. Would be kind of a fun project to see if I can do it or not. In the meantime, I know there are a lot of video snippets out there from the tour.
It might be fun to post which one you like best.
I am partial to this one (because I recorded it) ;) Plus it is awesome!

The most delicious thing about this is that they appear to be RAL tour clips, though there may be some WH clips in there too. But I think I know a RAL when I hear one, and I loved this nutty clip. I'm not hearing a lot of what I think is GDW here, mostly EO17, ICW, HSML, Rhiannon. If anyone wants to take David up on his challenge of ID'ing the shows these clips came from, I'd sure be interested.
00:03- 00:07- she goes "whoah! "WHOAHHHHH!!!" talk about classic whacked-out Stevie bellowing. Amazing. She put all she had into those EO17's back then. She's like frantic in her delivery! Why doesn't she still say "whoah", "baby" and "well" like that anymore?
00:08- 00:12- she's bleating like a lamb. Was this the vibrato that sent her to Betty Ford? Fantastic
00:16- 00:19- WTF? I'm not kidding, WTF????
00:22- 00:28- she threw in some R&B style sassin' into her 'Rhiannon'. Funky!
00:33- 00:40- I didn't know she ever did the ICW bridge on stage. All the clips I've ever heard feature a long, trippy but awkward synth solo without the yodeling that Stevie did on the recorded version. I would sacrifice my firstborn if I could get a soundboard of this hot mess in it's entirety.
00:41- 00:45- she's channelling Yoko or Bjork here. It actually made me a little uncomfortable in it's weirdness.
00:46- 00:57- from the 'Red Rocks' video, right? But, is this how it sounded live on stage, or is this how it sounded after the doctoring?
I hate to sound like a broken record. Messy, sloppy and downright scary as the RAL tour shows might sound, it's such power and fury. It's drama, it's like performance art. It's heaven to my ears. Why oh why did it ever have to stop?

Why oh why did it ever have to stop? Thanks to all the tapers, it kinda didn't!

I have officially started this project. My goal is to edit together all the GDW wails I have from the Unleashed Tour in sequence from beginning to end. I have a lot of the shows in flac format that (with the help of my hubby.. Thanks Jim!), I should be able to complete this hopefully by the end of the weekend.
Maybe I will play around with the DRRRRRAAAAGON part too in a separate file.

I'll be very curious to see how a compilation of Stevie wails from the 2008-2009 FM tour will stack up against 1983-1986 solo wails. I actually can't remember the wailing part of GDW when I caught FM at MSG, not saying she didn't do one. Just cant' remember it standing out as being very wailingly wailish.

Some of the 83 wails can be a little bland. Most of the RAL ones were very good. The wail changed during 2009 though. I like them now - nice and long. I was listeningo to (I think) the San Diego boot where the wail was so different than a month and a half ago when I saw them at Philly. Philly was also where she started streching out "draaaaaaagon" I think it's really great that the band bothers to change the song around during the tour.
I can't wait to hear your wails - I hope they are able to showcase the change in style.

Wow, it is like reliving the tour all over again. So far, I have in sequence...
Pittsburgh
St. Paul
Detroit
Washington DC
Boston
By doing them sequentially, I hope to capture in one file how it evolved and will also include the change in Dragon. Does anyone know when the wail really started to get longer? I just quickly went through my files and it seems to get longer by the 4/28 Atlanta show but really gets stylistically different by 5/8 Kansas City (well of the shows that got recorded anyway).
I might fool around with the Dragon part and the pale shadow/black widow to see what neat thing I can create.
Will keep you all posted on my progress.

I saw them both times at Mohegan Sun but the March wail was wayyyyyy better than the June one.

Hi Everyone! Wow, this is taking a little longer than I expected. (well, did not have time this past weekend to dedicate to this, but back on track).
So far, I have added these wails from the following shows:
3/14
3/16
3/21
3/25
3/26
4/15
4/17
4/18
4/20
4/22
4/23
4/25
4/28
Some are kind of muddy sounding but kept them in anyway since I had the file.
This is actually going to be somewhat lengthy and I am sure only die hard fans like us would really appreciate hearing the same wail over and over again, but as we all know, it does differ from night to night.
I have done this so many times now, I can almost select the wail right from the wave signature (plus, it is approx. the same time within the song from night to night).

I looooove to get all the shows from a tour and just listen to how each song is sung differently each night! It's fascinating to me.

For digital files, you can use a program to load in your file and a lot of it is just copy and paste into a new project/file. This site has a free download. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
I use Sonic Foundry Sound Forge.

Thank you, I'll have to look into this. I have recently downloaded two very long dance mixes and one contains a remix of Edge of 17 and another contains a remix of Brown Eyes. If I can't do it maybe you or someone else will want to?

Thank you soooo very much SandyMac for fulfilling my request in making these GDWwails. I bet a lot of people will enjoy them.

You had tickets and your parents said no. Why???
My parents are abnormally irrational people. I went to the Oakland show the night before (which, in my opinion, was awesome) and got home at like, 2 in the morning. APPARENTLY they forgot about the two mediocre seats I had for the San Jose show while still wrapped up in the experience of the night before... I was getting ready that day after school and my mom goes, "oh, Dani, I forgot about those. Just stay home tonight and actually get some homework done-- you saw them first row yesterday, anyway."
They don't understand two things:
1) when it comes to Fleetwood Mac with me-- if there's a will, there's a way. My work WILL be done.
2) it doesn't matter where I'm sitting. I need as many shows as possible to make up for the 20+ years of Mac that I missed!
