Fleetwood Mac [ tickets ] is expected return to the stage tonight (5/20) in Oakland, CA, after postponing a handful of shows over the past week due to illness.

As previously reported, the classic rockers canceled two shows in Canada last week--Tuesday night (5/12) in Calgary and Wednesday (5/13) in Edmonton--due to a band member falling ill.
The Stevie Nicks-led group managed to perform last Friday night (5/15) in Vancouver, though Monday night's (5/18) show at Sacramento's Arco Arena was also postponed due to illness. According to the venue's website, a rescheduled date will be announced soon, and tickets for the original performance will be honored on the new date.

Fleetwood Mac's greatest-hits trek, dubbed the "Unleashed Tour," is set to run through early summer, finishing up June 17 in Uncasville, CT. The band's classic 1977 album, "Rumors," was re-issued as part of a special CD/DVD boxed set on Reprise Records in conjunction with the in-progress US tour.

Wow now its already been released. And it makes sense that they would call the band led by Stevie, She is on stage for the most songs.

Interesting wording... Livedaily.com is owned by Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster is run by Azoff who also runs the management company that manages the band... You'd think these guys at least would get the info straight.

If anyone going to Oakland bought the meet and greet with Mick - would you please ask him what the hell is the hold up with this re-release.. They've been talking about it for months - but still no sign of a release date!

no, it make sense if some general public (not fans) think so, cause Stevie is probably the most popular singer of Fleetwood Mac. Specially in the 80s, more than Christine or Lindsey. But people who really know well that band, don't think she is the "leader".

Besides being on stage does not make you a leader. In this tour, Lindsey talked far more to the audience, than any other member. So this time many people could think he was the leader.

And Press shouldn't say that. They should be better informed before writing the article.

Fleetwood Mac has no a unique leader. Lindsey is one. Mick is a leader too, from other point of view. Peter was. That's the magic of that band. There is no an actual "leader"

Well Stevie is allegedly leading them to postpone shows... so maybe she's a temp leader right now ;)

There would have been an issue because people who don't think he's the leader would have spoken up. They are no less vocal than anyone else.

Stevie's the boss now?the tour will end at Mohegan Sun? It looks like these clowns did not do some research before reporting a story.

I'm probably one of the "and co" but I don't relly care at this point. The Lindsey fans may take exception, but the old-school Fleetwood Mac fans, or at least me at this point, don't really care. This band isn't the band we fell in love with.

Personally, without Christine, or even a third legitimate third vocalist, I don't really care anymore. If Green, Spencer, Welch, Billy, Rick, or Bekka were there, then I'd be interested. Otherwise, it's a couple of drama queens I quit caring about sometime in the 1990s. Is it Stevie led, or Lindsey led? WGAF?!? Fleetwood Mac almost requires a third. (Peter/Jeremy/Danny, Danny/Christine/Bob, Christine/Stevie/Lindsey, and Billy/Bekka/Dave are when they were at their best, IMO).

Glad the MAC is back! I live in SoCal and my stomach was in knots over the cancellation of Sacramento. I could see all of SoCal going down the tubes. Two more days until Anaheim. If they don't start dropping tickets soon I will have a coronary!

You know, I've been a fan for 33 years, so I guess I can call myself "old school" if you will, and I still have that same feeling as I had back then. The great thing is, no one is going to feel the same about this band. Some feel the way I do, some dont. It's all good.:)
