I was just looking at the comments at www.FleetwoodMac.com and someone who attended the Dallas show on 4/30 said that they played Blue Letter on one of the encores. I don't remember reading this and I even checked the Dallas shows thread here to see if anyone mentioned it and I didn't see anything.
Here is the comment: http://fleetwoodmac.com/news/2009/01/15/additional-unleashed-tour-dates-announced#comment-178

Somebody would have said something here for sure if it happened. Must be getting it confused with another song. World turning?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

Why isnt this song more popular. This song is a big time rocker.

Agreed. It's one of my personal favorites and I really wish it was in the set list in place of I Know I'm Not Wrong.

I doubt they play it because it wasn't written by the band.

But, they do the definitive version of the song. The Curtis Bros own version was and is left in obscurity. Had it not been for Fleetwood Mac, the song would be virtually unknown.

Actually, I totally enjoyed hearing IKINW live, but BL is a jam. Its not a Sisters of the Moon, but its a jam.

They played it in Dallas -- but it was at the Cotton Bowl in July 1978. Nice version, too!

That logic doesn't hold. They recorded it, they put it on an album and they have performed it hundreds of times on numerous tours. It's pretty much their song.

I agree - they played it throughout the first tours with SN and LB through at least half of the Tusk Tour, on the Mirage Tour, and then again on the Shake the Cage tour with Billy and Rick in 1987-88. It's another one of those songs which oddly enough was never resurrected during or after the Dance despite it's popularity beforehand.

call me crazy :], but I actually shed tears of joy (not a figure of speech...I openly wept) when I heard the beginning notes of 'I Know I'm Not Wrong' at the STL show. On the way to the show I played it in the car and was telling my mom how much I loved it. I had kept myself from looking at the set list threads and was totally surprised. It's one of my absolute favorites.

speaking of "high":
has anyone else seen people lighting up at the concerts?
in STL there was a person up near the stage puffing so much it looked as though something was on fire. Something tells me it wasn't cigarette smoke either

And, this should surprise anybody, why?
When I go to concerts it seems like those who DON'T "partake" are in the minority.

Oh how funny! I know at most of the venue's here, especially, in Houston- there are "no smoking" signs posted all over the place... So no one has done that here.. but how funny that they did that there.. Sheesh.. I haven't seen that going on since the 80's or maybe early 90's.. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL..

well, it surprised me because the whole arena was teeming with security. not to mention all the "no smoking" signs plastered everywhere. it took some balls to light up right there up front near the stage...in front of Lindsey's mic no less LOL I've just seen/smelled it at outdoor concerts, but never inside arenas.

People smoking at gigs, whatever they are smoking, sticks out like a sore thumb these days. I'm surprised they got away with it to tell the truth.

Lindsey probably appreciated the second hand smoke :D

I'm betting they confused Blue Letter with Monday Morning. Both are from the Fleetwood Mac self titled album, they're just one song apart on the album, and they sound extremely similar to me with their uptempo bopping sound. I actually used to get them mixed up myself because they're so similar in sound and structure to me :o .

Regarding the smoking issue... At every rock concert I've been to, pot smoking is a regular occurrence. I'm surprised that people are shocked by this. It doesn't bother me. It does bother me when someone lights up a cigarette. But I notice much less cigarette smoking than pot smoking.
I was at a Clapton concert once and the pot smoking was rampant. I asked a security guard (this was at the United Center in Chicago) and was told that they receive their marching orders from the bands. If the band tells them not to **** with people smoking pot, they don't.

They got the song confused with one of the encores. Monday Morning is the first song in the set.

I 100% agree. I can't remember the last time I went to a concert where I didn't smell marijuana at one point (and its not just I'm in "Potland").
