Another legend leaves us. Dorothy Zbornak may very well be one of my favorite sitcom characters ever, and I like a LOT of sitcoms! The talent of these actors and actresses just can't seem to be replaced by the younger talent of today.

God Bless and rest in peace Bea

This is sad news, she was a wonderful actress. I love Maude, still one of the best sitcoms ever, IMO.

I had no idea she was sick. I had seen her on TV within the past year and she looked great!

May she rest in peace- I truly loved her work.

I heard the news yesterday & I, too, didn't even know she had cancer. She was just so funny. I watched her in Maude & I watched her in the Golden Girls. She was just a really good actress. Yes, she will be missed.

So sorry that Bea is gone. For a few years now, when no one is looking, I've left The Golden Girls on.
