 Sounds more like "we need to get Jessica a job" to me.
But that's pretty cool that Aunt Stevie is looking out for her.

Thanks for posting this. Seems like Stevie did another People magazine interview that we haven't seen yet.
If Jessi has a rebellious streak, I wouldn't really trust her as hair stylist. She could get mad about something and Aunt Stevie would wake up bald.

Interesting…one would think that Stevie would bring her on tour with her and give her “life experience” learning how to do makeup. Instead, Little Miss Nicks is in California having a very good time, although “Coachella” was probably much more fun for a 17 year old than attending the same old FM show. But if she really wanted to be doing hair and makeup she could be out on the road with her Mom and Aunt. It just doesn’t make sense. Stevie will bring her dog out on stage to meet the crowd, yet Little Miss has never been given the opportunity to be brought out on stage. I am sure its no wonder why Little Miss puts herself out there for everyone on the internet to see. I loved the most recent picture of Little Miss posing with the pot plant, happy 420! She craves attention as much as Stevie does, but Little Miss does not have an audience. The article says “And she's desperate to find a job for their 17-year-old daughter Jessica, so they can turn long road trips into a family affair.” I guess Stevie didn’t get the most recent memo that little Miss Nicks now is aspiring to be a stunt/rally driver.

Jessica is pretty good with hair and make up. I've seen some of her stuff. She does MUA for a photographer. Also, I think her and her boyfriend started a "company" thing for photography and what not.

I hope this means we'll see a blue haired, fishnet stocking sporting Stevie soon.

I'd think working on the road with Stevie is the last thing Jessie would want to do. She doesn't seem to enjoy the fact that she's related to and has the Nicks name.

Great idea, I think the Mac could really use a "fire performance artist" in the background while they're performing.

I know- I was thinking the same thing. She's been trying to distance herself- so why would she do something such as that? But then again, it could be a great outlet for her creativity!

i did like her "prom" pic Little Miss just posted
she is very pretty
too bad her personality and try hard attitude seem a lil outrageous
i would kill my kid if she paraded around like that
and im only 26. but draw a LINE people!
do u really think Stevie would SIT in the car with Little Miss?
she drives a stick and TEXT messages at the same time
um...i cant wait til she has an accident
don't y'all have laws in CA like we do here
about it being illegal and u need a hands free
and minors arent allowed to use any device?

Christ! Do any of you have 17 year olds? How about, do you remember being 17? I've been a little intrigued since finding Jessica online, and quite honestly, I think she's behaving like the 17 year old that she is. So what her hair is blue and she smokes pot?? So what if she texts and drives a stick? Maybe I never died my hair blue, but I did far worse than smoke pot and text and drive... a stick even! (gasp!) Am I unambitious as a 31 year old mother because of it? Is my life really that bad now that I'm older? Not at all. So, she's into modeling, fire dancing and stunt driving. Good for her. Let her live now while she's young. If you can't handle it or don't approve of it, quit following her online.
Otherwise, if Jessica still wants to do makeup and hair, let her follow Aunt Stevie on tour. If that's what she wants. It's her life as Jessica, not as Stevie Nicks' niece.

OK, I hate to sound like a total moron but where is this kid online? Myspace or something?? Does she use her own name???
Details???
Self Edit: WOW, with a little googling effort I just answered that question for myself. Yikes. What happened to that cute little thing on the Destiny Rules doc???????

Puberty and sudden need for rebellion.
I don't think rebellion accurately describes this little tramp....WTF.....no wonder Stevie hates computers and myspace. Her twitter account is all about getting high and drinking.....where are her parents????
Jeez, I rebelled too when I was 17, but the girl could try to at least show a little class! Her communiques with some of those girls on her website were just nasty.

Her "public/professional" myspace is http://myspace.com/pixi_fire and her twitter link is right on that page.
Apparently she is 17 years old sans a high school diploma and she lives with her 21-year-old boyfriend. She specializes in "alternative" modeling and her FATHER Chris Nicks has joined ranks as a photographer. She has a modeling web page, that's on her myspace also. She also has a private myspace with some snotty blog about being "Jessica F#$%^ING Nicks" but that is private so unless you are her friend you can't see it. There have been threads on here all about it; I caught up with a bunch of them yesterday...do a search on the ledge and you'll see what I mean...

wow thats ridiculous that her parents let her live with her 21 year old boyfriend. she's only 17 years old. geesh! thats a real quick way to end up pregnant at a young age.

I actually dont think 17 and 21 is that bad its onyl 4 years apart. My mom and dad are 7 years apart..but then again they are divorced...but still...lol
Just because shes with a 21 yr old doesnt mean shes gonna get preganant as long as she uses protection.

A four year age difference is not that far apart at all, when you're both ADULTS. When you're 28 and 24 it doesn't matter, but 17 and 21 . . . For one thing, it probably encourages you not to want to finish high school if you're dating someone who isn't in school. You just want to stop being a kid that much sooner to catch up with them and, in the end, I think you're shortchanging yourself.
Sometimes there's a limit to what parents can do. If you have a child who threatens to run away, maybe it's best to let them be, even if you disapprove of what they're doing. If you pressure too much, maybe you egg them into even riskier behavior.
That said, my first instinct would be to call the police on the adult guy sleeping with my underage daughter. I know . . . I know. That would probably cause more harm than good, so I don't recommend it. But that would be my reflex response.

I personally dont think the age difference is a big deal, its the living with the guy that is my problem. I met my hubby when I was 17 and he was 21 but we didnt live together and my parents didnt let him sleep over until we were about to get married and he always had to sleep in the basement, HA!

I totally agree with you, my bf is almost 7 years older than me so I don't think the age difference between them is so bad, but from what I gather she has been living with him since she was 16??? Spinning Fire? Posing half-naked as a minor for all pervs to see??
This girl is still a baby trying to find herself and it sounds like she could use a parent. But I guess she'll be 18 soon enough so it won't really matter anymore, she can do what she wants. I'm usually not nearly so conservative about stuff like this, but there is just something that strikes me about her little attitude in the blogs she writes...but I dunno, maybe that's just typical teenage narcissim and ego-centrism at it's finest....

Well times are different now and everyone's parenting skills are different. I also think Chris is never around to even be a parent and if he is...he's the "good parent". Lori is always on tour with Stevie so Lori probably doesnt get time to see her/ parent her either.
I know my mom let my then boyfriend sleep over, but he slept on the floor on a mattress in my room or in the guest bedroom. My mom trusted us, also neither of us were sexually active so that was a plus...lol

It wouldn't have mattered if I was 17 or 27, my mother wouldn't have let anyone sleep over, but this reminds of Stevie talking about how she used to spend the night at Lindsey's house, when they moved back home after he got mono. I think she said she used to sleep on the floor in his parents' living room. Kind of sweet to think about.
