Does anyone watch this show? If there's any Kate hater's, here's a great site to bash Kate :laugh: I cannot stand the woman. And it looks like I'm not the only one. Sunday's episode about the Gosselins going green, had me seeing red :mad: What a f*cking bitch!

She's a wretched twat. She's shameless about taking advantage of people, including her own family. That's why you don't see her parents, and her sister-in-law disappeared from the show.

When I was on vacation somewhere this past summer, I happened to catch this show...first of all, it's BORING as hell. I mean, who in their right mind could find a show about two dull people doing mundane things interesting? I don't care how cute the kids are. These people are absolutely lifeless and their "stories" make everyone I know in my neighborhood sound fascinating in comparison.

I recall that the wife was extremely bossy, curt, and sort of annoying. If they have a bratty/whiny older daughter it appears she has taken on her mother's personality because that's basically how I remember her.

How did these people manage to get a show and sustain it? I don't understand that. If I could run my own television I'd get rid of every nonsense crap reality show and have something truly interesting and worthwhile replace it. I guess I'd be the only one because I love PBS.:shrug:

I haven't watched the show in a while. Kate is pretty neurotic. I heard that Jon has a hard time holding a job. The kids are realy cute.

I do feel bad for Jon but he should have told her NO when she wanted to have more kids after the twins. The way they talk it sounds like they love the six little ones but really miss how family life was with just Cara and Mady. It's sad that they feel that way about the six when it was all Kate's doing to have more kids and to have a LARGE family that they couldn't really provide for.

Kate pretty much seems to get what she wants and she doesn't seem to care who she hurts in the process. Its sad not to see any family or friends on the show like they use to show in earlier episodes.

The kids are adorable but you can certainly tell Mady and Cara are TIRED of having the cameras around. Mady especially hates the lack of privacy and she isn't afraid to let people know it. I have noticed a few of the little kids are also acting out because they truely JUST want to be kids and not responsible for paying for their mom and dad's lifestyle. I feel bad for the kids. I feel TLC is doing a big disservice with all the shows about big families now. Too many crazies out in the world thinking if they do the same thing having kids their life will be a free ride.

TLC is turning into something of a sideshow at a carnival with all the **** (and I do mean ****) they air.

I like the kids, they're pretty funny. But so are most other 4 year olds. :shrug: You just don't normally see them on TV. They're only "sepcial" because there are so many of them.

As far as Kate goes, I think her words & actions make her look like a controlling bitch. I know that with all those kids, you've got to be really organized & consistent & firm, but Jesus. :shocked: Her pointing out in front of the camera that it's rude of John to interrupt her is rude in itself - especially when she's constantly interrupting HIM. :rolleyes: John seems weak because he doesn't fight back, but I don't really blame him. I don't think it would make it better to stoop to her level & do the same thing she does on camera/in public.

The money thing? Well, if I had 8 kids (barf) I'd probably do what I could to suppor the fam. That being said, I think it's a really fine line between doing what you gotta do & outright exploiting your kids & family. Write a book about your experiences? OK, I get that, maybe people can benefit from those experiences, maybe some will find it interesting. But put out a scrapbook of pics of your pregnancy & your kids? That's a bit much, IMO. First of all, why do I want a book of pics of kids that aren't related to me? And why do I need pics of some other woman pregnant? :shrug: That smacks of a money-grab to me.

How much does there show pay them, then? Does the show pay them to do all the things they film, or cover the costs? Just cause somebody looks well off doesn't mean they are.

I don't like this show anymore - I used too - but now think they should go off air.

I was just thinking that! I bet when Kate heard someone had 8 babies in one birth she was like "F**K who's going to care about us now!" Then again, didn't the Duggers just get a show too? They have 18 now total, don't they?

Speaking of that woman (I refuse to use the coined nickname because I personally find it rather disrespectful, no matter how much I don't respect her), how on earth could anyone just want to have 8 children like that? I was reading some article recently and people that knew her said she had always wanted to be famous...what a selfish and rather insane way to gain notoriety. Wouldn't it have been a lot easier had she become a club-hopper and hooked up with a famous person instead? Happens all the time.

I guess in many ways I am way too conservative and strung on morals. I think having a baby is a beautiful thing, but people who use their babies for a free meal ticket or exploit them for money and fame just make me sick.:distress:

I totally agree with you. There are some sick women out there that use children to gain fame and fortune such as the ones that are talked about in this thread.

I have heard or read that Jon and Kate make about $65,000 an episode and they do film quite a bit!!! That is a lot of money!!! Hopefully, they have college funds set up for all of their children.

I won't even discuss the mom of 8 babies and 6 kids except I feel bad for those children.
