Yes, it's FNC, but Hannity and the like are not on this show...it's just like a morning chat show.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing, but I am sure also there will be limited time. I am guessing the interview will be 5 min if that, could be wrong, but have a feeling it is a not in depth interview. Isn't the time supposed to be 10 minutes before the hour? you figure 5-6 min of interview and then commercials.

Thank goodness it is soon, because I cannot take much more of this "news" program that would not know the truth, as opposed to one sided and unsupported innuendo, if it bit them in the a$$

I wonder what they asked her or made her do that she never did before?

Oh, here we go... At least Fox attempts to inject some degree of objectivity, e.g., Alan Colmes, than the typical liberal left media. Agree with them or not, at least they offer a dissenting point of view, which, as far as I know, has not been patently false. I would certainly trust Fox as a source of news more than MSNBC!

I prefer CNN. The thing about Fox is they bring on people like Ann Coulter and assert their patently false BS as a fact. Then, the hapless Colmes sheepishly tries some weak retort. Does anyone really believe that America's demand for drugs is not in a very large way responsible to Mexico's booming drug business or that W did not make America seem arrogant  Yet, Fox asserts it as a blatant lie because Hillary Clinton (who is de facto a horrible person) fudged some numbers about the weapons.

But and before the thought police some - let's get back to the interview and continue the Faux News BS in the chit chat thread.

OMG, great interview. The look on Stevie's face... priceless when they were talking about twitter. not gonna happen I think. I mean who wants to twitter with Karen as apposed to Stevie? I know Stevie would tell Karen what to type, but seems too techie for Stevie.

I myself have not twittered, but damn, if Stevie starts doing it... I will fall off my chair and will need rushed to the ER.

Love how they played clips from the DVD though.

Oh, and she didn't know that GYOW was on Guitar Hero, and that a likeness of her was on there. Of course, Stevie herself would not need to give permission for that, so no wonder she did not know.

Clayton Morris posted this on Twitter on April 2nd (the interview was taped on April 1st)...

"My interview with Stevie Nicks was amazing...we ended up hanging out afterwards and she gave me the dirt on a new Fleetwood Mac album"

On the 1st @ 2:36PM, he posted..."Getting ready to sit down with Stevie Nicks for an interview. I'm a huge fan boy. I don't mind admitting it."

At 5:16PM he posted... "Darn MTV is with Stevie right now. Hurry up. You don't even play music on your station anymore."

Seems like he gets as excited to meet as as we do...

How lame! Clayton created the account. And he set it up so that Stevie would be "following" his tweets. How rude. It's not really her account then, if that makes sense. She didn't chooose to follow him.

I signed up too....I agree Stevie/Karen will probably not do anything maybe once in awhile......she is building up alot of followers.

Question how do you write to Stevie on tweeter?????

TrueFaith77
04-05-2009, 10:02 AM
To talk to her directly, she has to "follow" you.

But she probably won't

So, the option you have is when you Tweet, if you want to say something directly to her (like: "Hi, Karen!" lol) then what you do is type: @RealStevieNicks and then type your message.

I wrote:

@RealStevieNicks if you're Tweetie, who is Sylvester? :)

She will see that message if she clicks on the button @RealStevieNicks on her account, but she probably won't do that either.

I don't even think Lindsey knew about it or at least that was how he reacted in one of the interviews for GOS when asked about it... So I"m not sure if it's just up to the publishers to agree to it, or if it's a joint approval between Lindsey and his Publisher... I would suspect he at least would have to sign off on it as he's the writer.

Go Your Own Way is on Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour
On Rock Band its just random figures singing and dancing and rocking out to the song while your playing
On Guitar Hero World Tour..you have the person you created playing whatever instrument you chose...but the other band members are diff.
I'm sure the song playing IS them and not done by another band sounding like them..Sounds just like it was off of Rumours...lol

I see what you mean. From the little clip we saw, the figure singing definitely was not Lindsey's image. My niece has Guitar Hero on Wii and she did create an image and used her points to buy the image new (rather shocking) clothes and a fancier guitar. Michele

I agree, she won't. She could be answering questions on the Nicks Fix if she wanted to be "in touch" or 'on call' to the fans on a regular basis. She is a fast typer, as her mother had her taking typing and steno before college, and she claims she types every night (journal). If Karen set her up, she could be regularly contributing to the Nicks Fix. Something she didn't want ("twitter") probably won't change her disposition, no matter how "cool" Clayton made it sound. I think it was fun for us watching that he tried, though.

The Kim Jong Il every five minutes was annoying as hell. Missile, missile, missile, missile!!!

I've got tired with the same ole story and the teasers on that channel too It was a long 1 hour and 50 minutes waiting for the interview. after it was over the channel got changed.anyway I think I said earlier, I dont watch Fox News channel plus the regular Fox network in that matter.Their programing stinks now.American Idiot is one of them.Ok back on topic Im glad to see Clayton got her on Twitter, but let see if she goes along with it.

Clayton Morris spoke about his interview experience with Stevie on his podcast... Here's the file if you'd like to download (http://rapidshare.com/files/218324544/CLAYTON_MORRIS_ON_HIS_STEVIE_NICKS_INTERVIEW.mp3)...Or you can stream his full podcast here (http://www.grizzlybearcafe.com/The_Grizzly_Bear_Egg_Cafe/Home/Home.html)

It's about 13 minutes long.... It was interesting... She gave him a tour of the Presidential Room she was staying in at the Waldorf.. Said that she said none of them looked at the tour schedule, and that they are finding it kind of exhausting. Also his question to her about a Fleetwood Mac album at the end... whether there would be one, and she wasn't sure if they would have the energy if the schedule is like this and after over a hundred shows

Really, I think there is an April Fool joke on us. She has over 800 followers now & she hasn't posted or twittered since the very first day. I'm thinking she's not interested in twittering whatsoever.

Well this is an excerpt from an MTV interview and it says it all!

Naturally, I joked that we’d never see a Stevie Nicks Twitter account. Her response? “You’ll never see a Stevie Nicks Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, or anything else because I think it’s cheap and sleazy and I hate it!”

beyond presumptuous!!

for clayton to sign her up for an account with an obviously ficticious email account, make up her twitter name of 'realstevie nicks', himself add her first tweet and make himself the first follower...really, what was this guy thinking? by the look on her face and the way she held that paper, he may as well have handed her a bucket of blood...

IMO he only confirmed her notion that the internet is for <img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a152/BTFLCHLD/35.gif">

Exactly. lol. But you also missed that he made himself the first -- and only -- FOLLOWED. creep
