Good to see he's (indirectly) promoting her work! Although i had sent him an email a few weeks ago when the CD/DVD press release was issued, but he never posted anything about it, which pissed me off because he's supposed to be such a huge fan of Stevie.

Just the idea of botox almost bringing down the production of a tour kind of made me giggle. Although, when I see how unrealistic some actresses on tv look with their botox, I can totally understand why it would bring things to a halt.

I thought it was funny and typical Stevie melodrama at first, too. But then I thought to myself, if *I* was a rock and roll star (hee) and my living was made by being on stage with people looking at me every night, I would be pretty devastated by sh*tty botox and would probably NOT want to go on stage.

And Stevie knows the press can be merciless. Even after the botox effect wore off, the vicious comments about it would follow her. So, yes, it might be worth postponing a few shows.

In some respects, it seems to me the critics who write about her today are still rehashing perceptions that were formed about her over 20 years ago, rather than actually reviewing the performer who is in front of them right now. So, these images linger.

I'm insulted that this cretin is constantly mentioning Stevie as though she was on the same level as the numerous D-listed "celebs" he glorifies on his web page. Perez is truly a moron and his reputation precedes him, so for someone as classy as Stevie to be associated in any way with this man and his site...it just makes her seem so run-of-the-mill to people who probably could care less.

Just sayin'. Though, any publicity is good publicity I suppose.

A friend of mine had it and it caused his eye to shut for like four weeks. It was awful

The thing with Botox is that you have to have someone that is good with the needle. I switched within the last year because I went in for my appointment and my nurse that I'd trusted for so long wasn't there. They didn't even bother to tell me she wasn't working there anymore. The nurse who injected me left me with some nice bruises. I had to work the next day and could see people looking at me like 'What the hell happened?'
I did my homework and found a doc that specializes in this. No bruises and I don't have the wicked arch to my eyebrows. And my crows feet are gone and my forehead is smooth as glass.
So to anybody out there who is considering Botox or Restylane or any of the other injectibles - do your homework on who is injecting you. Don't be afraid to ask them to see some of their work. Also, I would stick with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon or their well trained nursing staff for injectibles. Any doc can do botox. It doesn't necessarily mean they're good at it.

I'm just happy Perez is obviously a fan of Stevie's. I'd hate to see what he'd post about her (and what he'd draw on her pics) if he weren't.

I know - he'd draw teets down to her knees and dandruff on her platforms
