hey so i just checked my receipt again for the soundstage dvd/cd that i ordered from warner brothers and it now shows the following along with the rest of my order information:


Pre-order Rhiannon/The One Instant Gratification Downloads
Stevie Nicks Audiophile-Quality MP3 (320 kbps)
Savings $1.98

So they are giving us a free download of Rhiannon and The One from soundstage as well?

Yea, my receipt says that too. I'm so confused, do we get the download now, or do we get it on the 31st...

I just checked mine again.... Same thing! So where/when do we get these? It should be ahead of receiving the discs otherwise what's the point.

I did a search about WBR store downloads and i came across this page:

And here's what i found:

Q. My order includes pre-orders of music that hasn’t been released yet. When can I download that music and how do I do that?

A. You will receive an e-mail order confirmation of your pre-order redemption. That e-mail will tell you to watch for another e-mail that will be sent to you on the album release date. Both e-mails include the link you will use to download your music. You may ONLY use this link once you've received the second e-mail. Generally newly available titles are available for download after Midnight Pacific Time on the availability date.
For PC Users Using Internet Explorer: When you double click on this link, you will go to Step 2 in the answer to the first question (that's if you use Internet Explorer; if you use Mozilla Firefox, go to Step 3).
For MAC Users: When you double click on this link, you will go to Step 2 in the answer to the first question. Then you follow the rest of those steps to download your music.

so i just checked my email and there was an email from warners with those 2 tracks available for download. i am listening to them now. too cool!

I just downloaded mine, too. Just got the email.

I was like, "Awww, Warner Brothers, you cheeky monkeys." Too bad one is "The One," but that's okay, I wasn't expecting this anyway.

Actually, The One is an absolutely gorgeous track, and i was surprised that it came out so good! I'm also glad that they included the piano intro on Rhiannon too.

I enjoy listening to it because I think Stevie's voice really meshes well with Vanessa's, but her lyrics kinda bother me - I get this annoying hipster vibe off of them, particularly on "The One."

It's kind of like how I won't listen to Sheryl Crow on her own, but if Stevie's there, then so am I... the only difference being that I don't think Sheryl might be an annoying hipster with an ironic haircut, a closet full of ironic down vests, and an ironic hard-on for that Bright Eyes guy. ;)

But definitely agreed on the piano intro on "Rhiannon." :D

Yep, Warners sent out the email with the link to the two downloads. I really love "The One" and who can complain about Rhiannon???

Its cause ALL her lyrics are always from this dreamy 14year-old girl perspective.:rolleyes: I like her, but her lyrics do not have universal romantic appeal like Stevies seem to.

Do you only get these songs if you "PRE-ORDER"? are they going to be on or avalible with the album? i just cant afford to pre order right now. i need that fourty dollars. I will be able to spend on "wants" at the end of the month. But seriously, does anyone know if they are gonna be on the album?

I dont think the songs are going to be on the cd. I can upload the songs for you if you know of a site that I can put them on. I never did that before but it cant be too complicated right?

I currently have an audio ripped version of 16 tracks *192 kbps* posted on the media downloads section on my site...8 tracks that are included in the upcoming release will be removed by 3.30.09...so get them while you can

According to Amazon - these two tracks aren't on the cd... But they are on the dvd - and like bellaillume pointed out... She's got them uploaded to her site

Im hoping soundstage got "THE DANCE" Overdubbed treatment.:thumbsup: Does the e-mailed one sound different than the "previewpbsDVD? Someone said that "Crash into me" sounds better and enhanced? is the same true for Rhiannon through e-mail?:shrug:

the tracks from WB sound much better w/less audience noise and of course a 'mastered mix' sound - the only reason it's on the site is because i wanted to have a copy for my car - by no means is it meant to replace the upcoming release ;) it's just for those of us who long to hear anything new by stevie...

I don't know if they only come with the pre-orders, but I'm in the UK and I've pre-ordered the CD/DVD and I got the downloads no problem.

Thank you so much for posting these. I will have to go out and get the cd, stil. I have to have a hard copy. I just do. I got the Blu-Ray back in December so now I just gotta have that cd...

most US based stores will ship to the US & Canada

i ask coz i pre ordered Lindsey's cd and u were supposed to be able to dl the track
and i couldnt coz i wasn't in the US
and then i got mad :mad:

im all for *anything* new
i will go order it now anyway :D
