A few weeks ago, I posted this professional live recording of Outside the Rain (with introduction) with my OTR Master Reel collection.

It's an amazing soundboard recording from Stevie's 1986 Rock a Little tour in Sydney. I discovered that I also had soundboard recordings Talk to Me and Dreams, but not the rest of show.

These recordings are unbelievable sound quality and they are vastly superior to the audience bootleg of the entire show which many 0f us have as well.

Does anyone know if there are additional soundboard recordings? Does anyone have any background? Perhaps this show was recorded for potential live album or even captured on video before they decided to go with Red Rocks?

These three tracks were included in a 24-Track Master Reel collection.

They also have STAND BACK in its entirety, & a minute & a half of I CAN'T WAIT -- both allegedly from 9.24.86 Sydney (Reels 122 & 172).

Yeah...the bootleg I have of this show is definately low quality. I would love to have the whole show from soundboard. Wasn't Sydney the very last show of the RAL tour?

Does anyone here have Stand Back and the partial I Can't Wait from this soundboard recording?

Thanks for the downloads, but my god, she sounds awful. I'm not sure how I would have reacted at a show like that. What a wreck.

It's what I love about the RAL tour...very crazy...no matter how she sounded I love it. The more ramblings and add-libs the better!

Gnarly. I'm such a RAL addict.
In fact, I'm so addicted on RAL that once I fell off the stage while launching into a spin while high on RAL.

No kidding.

David, if cool and awesome had a baby...that baby would be you. Thank you for the kickass RAL live tracks! :D

Seriously, if some think Stevie sounds bad here...you must check out ANY show from the Timespace Tour. Not only can you witness some of Stevie's worst singing ever...the Timespace band truly sucked ass as well. That Whiskey show from '91 is such a good recording, but the performance by Stevie and her band is awful. Just my opinion...

I like the way Stevie sounds during this era. There is passion and feeling (among other things) behind her shows from this time period. Her voice may have improved over the years, but not her performances.

I saw her during the RAL tour and, yes, her voice was pretty raw. I do think she sounds better now. That said, she put on a very exciting show regardless.
