I know it isn't the number that is important, but just for fun,

When it comes to posts here on the Ledge, where do you stand in terms of rank? I've only been a member since 2006, but didn't start posting until several months later. I am #48 on the list of all time posts.

So anyway, just for fun, where do you stand?

I should have way more than I do. I think there was a time when the Ledge was "overhauled" and many people "lost" part of the total # of posts they had. Maybe I remembering it wrong?

I don't think the arbitrary number means a damn, since many of us have been posting here since '96 or '97 (like myself), since the Ledge began.

I was actually trying to think today about when I first discovered the Penguin & the Ledge. I think it would have been about then - '97 or something...? I remember doing an internet course and surfing for Fleetwood Mac and finding the Penguin. I remember going home to my parents and saying "I've just found this awesome Fleetwood Mac site..." :lol:

during one of the 'overhauls' many a post were lost, so the numbers for most should be even more than they currently are.

Ahh ok. I think i still had less than 1,000 posts when that whole thing happened. So I suppose I would be sitting around 5,000-5,500 posts. Still nothing compared to some of you.

As a lot of early posts from the entire board were removed my post count was affected so I have no clue how many actual posts I have made

Go to the members list and click on the posts link (in the middle). It then sorts the list by the number of posts made - you are around 25 ish!

That's what I say. I don't spend any time counting my total number of posts. Instead, I calculate my Great-Post-To-Total-Post ratio, which is very high.
