Thats one thing I really miss being away from home is the football. We get a delayed broadcast on cable which were lucky enough to have.

Does anyone watch it and catch the liverpool v newcastle game? That was awesome but I'm so excited that aston villa are up near the top this year that it only creates a bigger gap. Who do you guys support?

 I could never get excited about Aston Villa! I watch the premiership games on cable too but mainly the London clubs, Arsenal & Chelsea.

My favourites will be getting promoted to the Premiership at the end of the year!

I've just always loved aston villa since I can remember. Did you watch the liverpool game though, that one was a great game. It's so cool for aston villa to be up near the top though. I know theres a lot more to be played but we're equal 3rd I think. Gotta give us this to be excited about!

Oh and it would be a big rivalry at my place because my mum used to live across the road from the Arsenal club grounds and dad lived just down the road from the chelsea club grounds (back in the 70s). So when it comes down to the crunch I have to switch from aston villa and support one of the top ones and I usually go Liverpool. If you support clubs like aston villa in the end you've got to also have a favourite out of Man utd, liverpool, chelsea and arsenal. maybe just maybe aston villa could make it this year.....high hopes.

^^^^^^ Yes I saw the Liverpool game. I thought the Newcastle team were very poor and it was too one sided for me. I enjoyed the Fulham vs Chelsea game more. I don't dislike Aston Villa but I'm not so keen on their style of football. It's all very 'efficient' as Martin O'Neill's teams are, but not particularly as attractive as say, Man Utd or Arsenal. In the Premier League it is very hard for clubs to break through into the top four places so I hope Villa do well for you.

Hey buddy, how are you??? Awwwww.. I was gonna ask how the Newcastle team did... but it sounds like they didn't do to well, according to what you said. LOL..That's where my boyfriend- John's from.. you probably remember me yacking about him before. LOLOL.. I loved visiting their sports shop when I was down there before.. "Newcastle United"- and I still use one of the mugs we got there for tea every day! LOLOL.. His Dad is hilarious, as their house is filled with all of the Newcastle memorabilia all over their walls.. and he watches them all the time. Sorry to hear they weren't so good this year. Maybe next year?? LOL.. Hope you had a GREAT Christmas, Boxing day and New Year's!

Hugs,

Arlene

They are drinking too much Newcastle Brown I think and it is getting in the way of the football! Seriously they are better than Sunderland and that's all that counts with you Geordies.

Aston Villa ahead of Arsenal.....yessss!!! They're on par with Man utd but they have two exact games to make up ground it's looking ok for 4th...so far. Boy would a loss or two for man utd get me excited.
