Great artwork. I do not have anything close to that. I have several LARGE professional, cause I am not great at art, pieces that are in HUGE frames. Not enough to even take pictures of. LOL YOu have inspired me to collect a bit more.

This is a great idea. :D Your collages are awesome. I don't have a whole room dedicated to Stevie, but I have my mirror decorated with Stevie photos and a shawl and I a simple "shrine" with the white winged dove poster above it. Have a look here.

I am inspired to take photos of all my stuff now - except I've got it all over the house, so it'll take a little while. I originally started with one wall in the dining room, but that didn't turn out to be enough.

I don't have any new pictures of the living room since it's been redone. Actually those pictures are from rooms scattered all over the house. I don't have ONE room that has everything in it. Also, that is only a very small portion of stuff. For instance all of the posters have probably five or six more behind them.
As for the fan poster, that is one of my favorite items. For those that don't know, that was the promo poster for Stevie's 1983 City Of Hope "Stevie & Friends" show. I saw it a fan magazine and began searching, an friend from "Enchanted" saw it in a shop in Arizona, knew I wanted it and offered to pick it up for me. It came with the frame and matting.

Oh yes...I collect dragons of all kinds! They are all over the place (along with Stevie). My house is done in a Renaissance/Medieval theme, so they fit in just fine. :)

Hello everyone! I am new here and I just love Stevie/FM they are my #1 all time favorite singers EVER!!! I am so glad I found some people I can share my intrest with. Not many of my friends have the same taste as I do so I don't get to talk about my Stevie obession much! lol

Anyway I LOVE all these pics of you rooms. WOW if I only had 1/2 that stuff I'd be in HEAVEN. :angel: Thanks for sharing these pics. I would post a pic but all I have is just all the cd's and 1/2 the dvds and a book and a couple posters... but I am working on it! I will collect all i can for as long as I can. :) Anyway just wanted to stop and say you all have some wonderful stevie things and I ENVY you!! :) Have a great weekend!!

Most of the CDs in the photos are Fleetwood Mac related -- live shows, demos/outtakes, interviews, etc. The photos don't really reveal much of my collection, which consists of lots of vinyl, videos, shirts, magazines, books, posters, photos, etc. I have it in several rooms and closets in my house. I've collected Fleetwood Mac and related items for a very long time, so it really accumulates! :eek: I didn't realize how many shirts I had until I hung them all up in a closet and had to keep buying extra hangers.

I'm sure you started way before I have...and I don't have my collection as nice as your .....well I also don't have a whole house to display it all in. I would just love to sit down and look through all of your cds....I could just spend hours doing just that alone and all your photos. I'm sure you've probably done that too. I can't even get to all of my cds as easily as you can yours. I still love my cds of demos etc. Did you get them from other collectors or win some off ebay? I'd always wanted those WH/RAL cds they once had up(I did at least win the BD one though)...sometimes I loved them just for the photos alone....that probably sounds crazy but sometimes the pictures were so cool and sometime rare photos too. I wish I could have all of my shirts displayed like that....that would be awesome. Alot of my posters are in tubes as well. I have doubles of some of my most favorite ones as well. As I'm sure you do too. It never hurts to have doubles of something if its not too expensive ya know not always but sometimes it possible too. Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us HS.....so very cool. Do you have buttons too of Stevie /Mac....I have alot of them hanging on red ribbons around my room...big or small.....I love photo buttons.....I can never get enough of them or cds too.....photos....:blob2::thumbsup:

And be careful with the collecting or you'll end up like me - I started out with just owning the major releases on vinyl, which then snowballed into collecting every 12" single I could get my hands on, which then snowballed into collecting every 7" single I could find, which then snowballed into photos, tshirts, posters, tourbooks, songbooks, regular books, press kits, jewelry, trading cards, bubble gum stickers/cards, magazines, magazine clippings, ads, and other odds and ends.

I also collect the bootleg albums, but only the vintage vinyl ones from back in the day.

I have three huge leatherbound scrapbooks where I keep the photos, magazine cuttings, and ads, and the albums live on my walls, like this:

I'm not finished getting all my albums up - I have about 30 more to go - but the frames get pricey, so I have to do them in installments. Eventually, my dining room will end up wall-to-wall records.

My framed posters live in various spots all over the house, and I have one wall in the living room dedicated to my favorite black and white photos of Stevie.

I try to curtail my collecting by only going after items in mint condition that people aren't trying to charge an arm and a leg for, so it is slow going, but it makes it more fun for me - finally acquiring a piece I've been seeking for ages is really satisfying.

Walking into my house is probably a surreal experience for most people, particularly when you take into account that the walls not covered with Stevie or FM have stuff like this on them:

That is December from this year's Herbie calendar. I would scan it for you, but my scanner is broken. :( I'm sure someone out there has a digital version! :shrug:

I got the Stop Draggin' single for about 20 bucks. The cover is a bit scuffed on the back, but that was the cheapest I had seen it available, so I snapped it up. I haven't seen another one in a while, so I am glad I did go ahead and get it.

The IAF single I did pay a lot more for than I usually would, but I wanted it really bad, and it's in perfect condition, so I'm glad I did. Out of all my records, that is the one that I've paid the most for, but it's so pretty and fairly hard to come by (it was for me, anyway - for all I know, there could be piles of them around and they were just hiding from me, haha) that it was worth it.

And glad you like the Velvet Jesus con 18 Wheeler! :laugh: That was painted for me by the Professional Mexican Velvet Elvis Artists of Tijuana, Mexico (tm) and kind of my pride and joy. I also have two velvet Elvii (one young Blue Elvis, and one Elvis in Awesome Rhinestone Jumpsuit and Scarf), and one day hope to acquire one of the famed Velvet Devil on the Can (http://www.velvetpaintings.com/Velvet/Tijuana_BlackVelvet_Standards/Tijuana_BlackVelvet_Standards-Pages/Image2.html) paintings, and a classic Velvet Aztec w/Unconscious Virgin (http://www.velvetpaintings.com/galleries/tjstandards/oldwest-on-black-velvet/aztecs-on-velvet/index.shtml).

It never fails to surprise me that the Louvre doesn't come 'round asking me to share my impeccable tastes in art by curating the museum for them, really. But should you ever have the need of an excellent velvet painting (whether you need a Velvet Nixon or a Velvet Mexican Unicorn), I heartily recommend the fine folks at Indignico, Inc (http://www.velvetpaintings.com/). One day, I will commission them to paint me a Velvet Stevie con Tambourine and a Velvet Mick con Scary Face and then I will know I have truly attained the best there is to offer in absurd wall decorations.

I dunno who commissioned that one, but it's wondermous. I will definitely commission a velvet Stevie one day, but they are kind of expensive, and I am broke right now. Le sigh.

It'll have to wait until I get my current expensive Stevie art projects taken care of - I have one of the big Rhiannon charity prints and one of the TISL stained glass prints that I want to have professionally framed so they stay safe.

Really?!? I guess ebay would be an easy start. In the old days I used to go to every record convention and old flea market or book store possible. Not many exist anymore. But, if you have a Kate Bush wall, we'd love to see that! I love her too.:)

I don't decorate my walls with movie/music stuff anymore (my significant other told me I decorated like I was still in college) - but here is a picture of my "Stevie wall" from about 6 years ago.

Awww! I like your wall - quite jealous of the Uncirculated Rumours albums. Those are the only vinyl that I still have on my list of things to get. Sigh.

I had to lol at what your significant other said, though. I display my stuff a little differently than most of the Stevie rooms I see, mostly because I don't have a whole room I can really dedicate to my junk without it looking overwhelming - so instead of having just one area completely plastered, I scatter my stuff around the house, and try to stick with a general theme/scheme in each different room.

For example, my living room is done in black, white and wine/burgundy/deep reds. I liked the look of those "wall collages" I see in magazines and such, so I used framed black and white photos and framed albums with black and white covers on one wall to do that. It shares space with the big black and white print from A Clockwork Orange on another wall and the group of Grindhouse posters on the opposite wall - but since they all have similar colors going, I like to think nothing looks out of place.

My bedroom is done in black & gray and I will eventually paint the walls dusty purple, so I've got my Wild Heart promo poster in there, as well as framed album covers that have purples and other colors that match up with the blues and such in the WH poster.

And the big wall in the dining room has all of the other framed albums that don't quite fit anywhere else, but they're all arranged in a big grid on the wall, so they look like they "match" even though they don't. There's a photo of what I mean upthread, but I've since moved, so it looks different now - some of those in the picture got swapped out for different rooms, like the Edge promo is now in the kitchen, because my new kitchen is tiled in black and white and the Stop Draggin' promo is in the bedroom due to the purples.

Aww, you guys are so lucky... I have no memorabillia. I just can't seem to find any (and not that I wouldn't want to have any!)

Where do you guys get yours from?

I don't collect like I used to - I kind of exhausted both my funds and stuff I really wanted to own. BUT when I was collecting hardcore, I used eBay, musicstack, eil.com, and similar, and made sure to scour used record stores and such whenever I was near one, just in case.

Wow, Haunted Song- the matting and frames are extraordinarily well done, something tells me you do it yourself, because they are so perfect that I doubt a custom place would do as excellent of a job. Beautifully presented. You definitely have a flow going in how the art is all displayed, too, it's worthy of being a Stevie museum!
