I would like to see "Bella Donna" "The Wild Heart" and "Rock A Little" all remastered and extended with original songs that were recorded for the sessions as well as Demos and outtakes, like they have done for the Fleetwood Mac CDs. I'm sure we all know that the mastertapes are still in a valt somewhere and can easily be fixed to
make all these cd sound a HELL of a lot better, esp Rock a little...I bought a new copy of it and it kept jumping the intro to sister honey, I had to keep my original cd from 1986...

Now someone can tell the story more than I can....the Masters are 'out' there ....someone /who? not sure bought them when Modern went up for sale? or the vaults did. I don't know if all the Masters are 'out' there ....I'd say not all of them are.....alot of BD are out there as well as some from RAL/Mirror/SA too but as far as the masters for WH no luck.....why ....not sure.....someone else can elborate more....I really don't know all of the facts about it....
I do agree we could use total Masters on all of Stevie's solo cds....period...with rare outtake photos too.......it would be awesome but I doubt it......sad but true......Some of the masters to BD are better than the actual LP/cd to me.....and the others I've heard....what a shame....as well as all the unreleased songs etc...demos.....all that stuff could be released just like B. Dylan did......missed opportunity if you ask me.....in so many ways........sad but true......
Anyone else know the total story about the Master tapes....please tell.....I don't really want to speak about what I don't 'know' the full story.......Thanks.....:nod::sorry:

Why would you write the headline that way??? You are leading us all to think that it has been done. Then we click on it and see that you are saying what has already been discussed many many times already.
You should have said in your headline when will they be remastered or why haven't they been remastered.

oh it's always the same complain...masters are gone, they are lost, blah blah...I don't believe a thing. I mean, the ground didn't opened and swallowed them. masters are something really precious...Tv stations do not lose their masters and original videos (ok, they have the documentation department who takes care of them...)... if I lose my masters in tv or radio class or at work I'm a dead man (in my case, girl).
call me a paranoid but it sounds too easy "they are gone...".
but i see anyway they should take better care of their own material (I mean companies...).
in the case of BD maybe for the sale of Modern records...mmm alright. it could be true. but for exemple, with FM it sounds **** to me. I don't think Mr. Buckingham would let his production stuff just vanish...
so...I WANT BD to be realeased, remastered with new old material. the same about all stevie's work and FM's mirage and TITN. (ah, and GI too)

I posted this because I wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way...
I know that I really would love a remastered copy of MIRAGE...just to hear
straight back with all it's haunting melodies...

I think this is a GREAT idea, but I'd like to see it all the way thru STREET ANGEL!
Wasn't there talk of this around 5-10 years ago?

TOTALLY agree......I've been saying for years that Stevie should do a "From The Vaults" album......with the wealth of material she has sitting around, it's a no brainer!!!
Plus, why should the bootleggers get the cash? Let that be money in Stevie's pocket (or shawl, as the case may be!).

Plus, why should the bootleggers get the cash? Let that be money in Stevie's pocket (or shawl, as the case may be!).I totally agree with you.....it should've been done ages ago. Instead of her complaining about it. Was it wrong yes....but Stevie has given her demos out to family/friends etc....for YEARS as she has said in various interviews since what the 7o's ....so what little we have......which to me isn't much considering well all the 'song's that she has supposedly written through the yrs that we don't have any idea about....all the demos that we don't have ....etc.....Missed boat YES....totally....she could cash in so many ways.....have a more updated web site...Get some web savy people on your pay roll and sell wonderful things to your TRUE die hard fans....instead of blasting them in the press when well you know nothing about us except that we have listend and supported your music all the yrs even when we could've walked away.....she could sell limited edition posters(with Herbie)/books/limited edition cds/dvds.....who knows.....stop complaining and do something.......someone will profit from it yrs to come.....well it could be her......I'll believe it when I see it though but I won't hold my breath either......:sorry::shrug:
