Bella Donna questions...

[Storms1968]

I am searching for alternate/demo/acoustic/a cappela version of Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - and How Still My Love. I have a few already, but the sound quality is kind of crappy - or the take is just too long. I am hoping to make a parallel Bella Donna (same song order as the album, but with different, awesome versions of the songs) - along with a cool 2nd CD with Bella Donna era out takes. I am really only dreaming of GOOD quality versions. If anyone can help me out with these 2 songs, please... Come in out of the darkness :)

Also, if you know of any songs that I am forgetting for the out takes CD/Bella Donna era, please let me know. Also, if I am wrong about one or more of these songs (if they are not from the BD era), please let me know that, too.
So far I have:
Julia
Starshine Silver
Garbo
Sleeping Angel
The Dealer (I believe this is from the Rumors era... not sure)
Gold & Braid
Baby Doll
Rich Old Woman (Mystical Love)

Thanks to all. I will happily post the finished product once it is done - if anyone is interested. Peace :)

To my knowledge, there is already a bootleg called "Bella Donna from a Parallel Universe" in existence... as you described, with different (and high quality) versions of the songs, in the same order, with additions like baby doll, gold and braid, gypsy, and sleeping angel. I think they are the ones from the Tom Petty Sessions - - all of the songs have that pretty mandolin sounding part. Anyway, good luck with your project!

Thanks for the info - I already have BD from a Parallel Universe - but I have versions of some of the songs that I like even better than the Parallel Universe versions. All I really still need is a good version of Stop Draggin' My Heart Around. No one seems to have a version of this except the one on the CD (there are some live versions, but I can't stand this song in concert!!!) Oh, the irony. Hell, I don't really even care for this song on the album, but still... it is needed to complete this project :) Ideally, I would love to have a version of her singing this song solo. Or a piano demo would be cool as hell, too... but I just fear that this search is just an Impossible Task... :)

Alas... my search continues... :)

Thanks again though - I truly appreciate your posting.

Peace -
And Happy Holidays :)
