I believe that interview was filmed backstage / on site at the US Festival in 83.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Looks like they are in a field, slightly away from what is seemingly a daytime, outdoor event.

She seems different in this clip. Maybe she wasn't high? I don't know. lol.

You can tell the interviewer is making a joke out of her when he says, "Is there any song that's particularly close to your wild heart?" and he kind of snickers. Oh well.

I remember seeing this cip on MTV in 1983 ..it was right before she went on at the US festival..I thought then it was so funny that she was so obviously coked up.

ahh okay..The Wild Heart era probably was the peak of her volume of cocaine consumption ..in this interview she can not stop moving while talking to Mark Goodman..I love the Wild Heart era and when it ended it was the end of the wood sprite you mentioned IMO ,but the girl was doing some copious quantities of coke then..no question.
