I'm a fairy this halloween, a purple one, and very rock and roll if I do say so myself. Anyone have any ideas for some dramatic makeup? The costume needs a little facial flair.

Brandon? Kate? Bueller? I'll figure it out.

Swirls and glitter. Fake eyelashes are a must - they make some cool ones that you can find at Walgreens. Different colors and glitter.

It was really fun and I got a lot of compliments on the makeup. I disagree with the application though on one count, the eyeliner should go on last, it is more dramatic that way.
For the club tomorrow I will have more sparkly/glittery things going on. Knowing my friends there will be lots of pics although I probably won't post here. I'll send to your list which I haven't had much time for lately, sorry about that.

I plan to be dressed as the following character (My hair is nearly the same length now) as I hope to be living somewhere that actually celebrates "Trick or Treat" :
Eric Draven "The Crow"

that the creator of "the Crow" James O'Barr created the characters as his way to deal with the death of his one true love, his fiancee Bethany in 1978 (My older brother Geary met James O'Barr and got his autograph, said 'he is very similar to you').
I know I have an ability to write (I'm a very non-verbal communicative person), and I used to be an artist - so who knows, maybe I can find some solace if I put the 'pen to the paper'. It's been inside me for awhile, and maybe her death will open that door for me.
Btw, Watched the movie last night, and BAWLED like a baby when the song "It Can't Rain All the Time" by Jane Siberry played on the closing credits (That song was one of two I picked to be played at Debbie's funeral..."Your tears won't fall...Forever").
I think the headstone for her grave (Which someday shall also be my final resting place) has a touch of 'Gothic' to it (Two hearts, in rose color granite, joined together in the middle with her name/date on the right side - my name/date on the left side, the name "Johnson" in big gold lettering on the backside)

I can identify with the writing thing. That movie alone made me cry I can't imagine having my love's funeral tied to it. I'd be a mess. The headstone sounds perfect.
Did you get any pics in your costume?
