Just got back from the show tonight and wanted to post a couple of pictures. I did get audio too, but probably won't post that until tomorrow sometime.

No new songs, pretty much the same set list as this summer. We did have a stage jumper though, that was pretty funny.

Shel your little camera soooooooo rocks!!!! Those came out great!! I have almost the same pic as the one you took with the screen with Stevie's dad in the background!! LOL!! And to everyone you have to know that Shel is a lifesaver!! Stupid me forgot to change the batteries in my camera and Shels big camera malfunctioned for some reason so she gave me her batteries--YEAH!!! I got yelled at a couple of times to put my camera away--what's new :mad: Shel is a picture taking maniac with a steady hand--I'm so shaky when I take pics I'm lucky ANY turn out---at least for Stevie. I don't seem to have that problem at other concerts though :shrug: My pictures came out pretty grainy and I'm kind of upset--but at least some of them turned out...... I'm so confused with this darn camera of mine. I seriously think it is a 4 gig card that I'm using--long story but when I used my 2 gig they weren't half as bad and I had the same results at another recent concert.......... anyways I hope it is okay to just post my photos here--don't want to make another thread!!! And thanks Shel for playing musical cameras with me--when I got yelled at I handed my big camera to Shel!! LOL!! She was also taking pics with my little camera and her little camera at the same time--she is a picture taking maniac I tell ya!! Fun times!!! Okay off to photobucket and then I will post some of mine :p

I had so much fun tonight, I was definitely on fire taking those picks!!! I'm bummed my big zoomer didn't work, but at least I was able to donate the batteries to a good cause :thumbsup:

Thanks, I was waiting for that shot for a long time. I had my camera at the ready waiting to her to come out, but it seemed to take forever!!! I'm just glad it wasn't a total blur.

Shel, that very first top one of yours is really interesting because the way it captured the movement, Stevie almost seems to be wearing a magic transparent jacket.

She handles stage jumpers very wisely. She not only shows no fear, but she also doesn't pay attention to them. They want attention and the way she just keeps on performing, with as little reaction as possible, probably discourages more people from doing it. She's got steelier nerves than most could manage in that situation.

I agree there. I would imagine that would be scary, particularly since you know anyone crazy enough to jump onto the stage is, well, pretty crazy. Were it me up there performing, I'd totally <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv1bM0pp_o4">pull a Keef Richards</a>.

At one show I was at, during my first Edge walk, a girl next to me latched onto Stevie's arm and started pulling her - hard - down, apparently because she wanted to give Stevie a kiss, and Stevie was unruffled, just saying, "No, no, noooo," to the girl and pulling back.

I was impressed with that, because Stevie is a tiny lady balancing on very tall heels, and having a larger girl trying to pull her down with all her might makes for a precarious situation.

I was hopin she would add "Love Is Like An Itchin In My Heart". I have always loved The Supremes and always thought Stevie should do that song. When she did it last week and that benefit show I was really stoked! I wish that would surface.

She was one of the first up by the stage, next to the railing to shake Stevie's hands for the Edge Walk, and was SOOOOOO excited!

I have another cool one from the 2001 tour of Stevie at the side of the stage drinking out of a Styrofoam cup, I should dig that sucker out and post it. It's not spectacular or anything, but I liked it. This shot just reminds me of that one.

yeah Shel I think it was Fall from Grace also........ I took one pic of the jumper but mine is super blurry--I was too busy watching for the security guy that decided to hassle me half way through the show--sheesh!! By the time I realized what was happening I was too late. And I was switching back and forth between flash and no flash--auto and manual settings just trying to get something without a flash!! ha ha I was actually proud that the only Stand Back pic that turned out was without a flash--so I figured something out at least if not for just one picture!! LMAO!! :laugh: And Shel was lucky that she has a railing seat to steady her cameras on and she didn't have to deal with anyone in front of her...... plus she could sit down without being noticed that she was taking pics--I had to stand the whole time. I considered asking the people next to me if we could maybe swap seats so I could use the railing but I didn't want to be rude :o Shel you have a dressing room pic on my camera too--I'll post it but it is super dark........ I didn't even think to try to take a pic of her coming out of there--next time I'll know!!

Thanks for posting the photos from the concert last night. There nice pictures. I can't say I'm surprised at all about the setlist thing....I didn't think I'd miss much. Spending the $$ this summer for tickets was enough.....but I'm happy for all those that had a great time....Thanks again for sharing the pics and the video too....:nod:

I want to know how in the heck she even got up there!! If you look at Shels Edge walk photos you will see how high the stage was from the main floor...... :shrug: Unless she got up there from the side steps or something--or maybe someone hoisted her up there!! LOL!!

On another note--great vid clips Shel!! I love how Lenny is rockin' out during Rock and Roll--I didn't even notice that at the show!! I considered taking some vid but I have never done that before and I was so darn shaky with the camera that I didn't even want to attempt that!! ha ha

last night was my FIRST time ever seeing stevie live! and i was totally blown away!!!!!!!!!!! when she came out on stage for the first time with stand back, i'm not going to lie...i became very emotional and started to cry!! and i am not a cry type of person, i haven't cried in years...but i just became so emotional...shes been the soundtrack to my life!!! she looked beautiful, sounded great a truly captivating night

hi guys...well what a night i'm still stoked and it was 2 days ago but stevie has that effect on u lol...anyway my 3 pics that i managed to take bc the gustapo where right in front of me came out crappy as usual...im so glad ur pics came out great...what a night tho...stevie was in fantastic voice and she looked absolutely beautiful...i dont think she put on weight as some have said she did...she looked fab...for the jumper she was a tall girl and she tried it out first to see if she could get up there and the security guards ran down the steps and she stepped back but was running up and down in front of the stage with her bat sleeves extended and finally she just jumped up and walked right over to stevie...it was fall from grace and the funny thing was the security guards from my side brought her out thru a door right next to me so we got a good look at her...she was maybe 5'10" tall and as they were taking her out she kept yelling i love u stevie...yeah stevie handled it as if there wasn't anything going on...as she said she has never been afraid when something like this happens bc she has the best fans in the world and they love her and she loves them...after that incident the gustapo blocked the stairs from anyone going onto the main floor and kept telling me and the other 2 cdn girls beside me to sit down but when the edge started we were up boogying and their attention was focused on the floor so we made our way over to the rail...the great big security guard just watched us but never said anything so when stevie started the edge walk i said to the blond beside me i think she's going to come here bc its right at her level and sure enough she came right to me and grabbed both my hands and i was in tears laughing and crying and told her about our sisters shirt and she gave me the biggest smile...i'll never forget that smile and her eyes seemed to see right into my soul...i swear there is an energy that comes from stevie that is left in ur body long after the show is over...i call it the buzz bc that's what it felt like to me...anyway i'm so greatful i got the most wonderful moment of my life captured by u guys...thanks doesnt express how i feel and i'll treasure them always...hugs pat

I recently read that Warner Bros pushed the upcoming Madonna anthology from 4th quarter '08 to 1st quarter '09, because competition this season is going to be stiff. Plus they're still concerned that, with the economy in such bad shape, a lot of releases will sell far below their potential.

So it's likely that they are waiting for "after the election," but only in the hopes that the economy will pick up again and Stevie's release won't get lost in the shuffle.

Sorry for jumping in here,
the seat location, (4th, &, 5th row side stage was perfect),
with the rows set-up at an angle, we had a fantastic view, not too close, not to far,
no one in front of us, &, level with the stage,
we were 25 to 35 feet from Stevie all night, (......priceless.......).
Probably the best venue to see anyone due to the size, (~1500 seats), &, proximity.

Gotta agree. It's not like she invited you up there, or something, so you don't get any bragging rights other than, "Hi, I'm crazy and leaped onto stage with Stevie Nicks and likely scared the bejesus out of her and everyone in her band before security dragged me away, but I LOVE HER. I can understand wanting to meet Stevie, because I would like to meet her myself, but stage jumping is not actually meeting her, it's just being incredibly disrespectful.

I think stage jumping is extremely creepy...not cool at all. Poor Stevie. Why would a "fan" do that to her?

Totally agree!! I know I would never do something like that :distress: The bad thing is that it seems like once one person does it others follow suit...... I mean can't they wait until the Edge walk and just shake her hand???!!!???? :shrug:

Let us be honest with ourselves. There are people out there that do not care how their actions make others feel, or how it affects others.

So, to the stagejumper I say: I am glad that you didn't get taken to jail and that you are ok, but please don't do it again. I mean that with respect, but if things like this continue to happen it will only make it harder for level-headed fans to meet her.

I think things like this give the, "fan" a bad name. It's like Bette Davis said in ALL ABOUT EVE, "These aren't fans they are degenerates, juvenile deliquents, autograph fiends." I just don't want Stevie to fear the rest of us based on the actions of a few.

Honestly, it was one of the scariest moments I have ever had in a concert setting.

She sang her entire 2008 set, I believe. This was the show with the stage jumper on Fall From Grace. Go look at Shel and Glitter's photos from this show. She still was wearing the boots, the red cape, and the all white outfit. She looked bangin!

But, yes, if anyone could re-upload these as MP3's, I would be eternally grateful!
