First of all i just want to say that it was really cool meeting some of you people. At the Keswick :Jackie, Gail, Brooke, Greg, Eric and Brian with whom we waited for hours oustide and nearly froze our asses off just to catch a glimpse of mr. B.
Will who came to say hello after the show.
Mike who wore his fedora as promised so i could spot him straight away.
The couple from Norway, who also came to the USA especially for these shows.
And in New York: Pattie and her friends who recognized us in the street (imagine that when you're that far away from home :eek: )
and last but not least : Pedro and John ; thanks Carne for the autograph (i did not get Lindsey's but i sure got yours) and thanks to both of you for the nice company.

SUZY! I am so glad you and Otto made it home safely. It was so nice meeting you guys and we had a nice time having dinner with you.

Wow! What excellent photos! I remember you showing them to us on your camera after the show and I am totally amazed at how well they turned out. I still can't believe we met Lindsey...*sigh*

I have been meaning to e-mail you (and Little Gia) but life has gotten in the way. I wrote my review of the show for the paper and it should be published this week. I will definitely post that here as well as send you an e-mail. I'm not sure if my editor is going to put it online, so if not, I can scan it.

I had such a wonderful time meeting all of you amazing folks. Greg took some great shots of us all together, and one really good one of you and Otto. I need to have Gail re-size them so we can e-mail them to you, or I can snail mail you a copy of them all on disk.

Lindsey Buckingham ~ Trouble ~ New York City Live 2008

This is an AWESOME live performance of his classic song ~ Trouble (one of my faves)!! This is from Lindsey’s October 19, 2008 ~ Gift Of Screws concert, which took place at the Nokia Theatre in New York City. It was the last show of this short tour.

I was not able to attend this particular show. However, I was lucky enough to go to his Reading, PA (October 10, 2008) one and it was AWESOME!! I attended this show with my younger sister & her boyfriend. They sat together in the 7th row and I was in the front row center sitting (by myself), which was a first for me. (: That one ticket was very costly and the drive was long (8 hours of driving back and forth in one day) , but it was ALL well worth it to me. I was never that close to my idol before. I was in total awe of him that entire evening. (:

I had no luck with the whole picture taking thing. Shortly after only my 2nd photo, one of the security guards came over to me and made me put my camera away. Unfortunately, the two that I was able to take, didn’t turn out that well. ): I also had no luck with getting any of the picks that he threw out into the audience on a couple of different occasions or the towel that he used to wipe the sweat from his face. I would have LOVED to have gotten that towel!! For some reason, it wasn’t meant to be. ):

That entire night was magical, but one of the major highlights for me was when I got to briefly touch his leg and boot during his guitar solo via Go Your Own Way (my fave song of all-time). I tried REALLY hard for his hand and guitar, but I was just out of reach. (It doesn’t help that I’m so short.) By the way, I’m usually a very low key person, but when it comes to that song, I always go crazy. (lol) His guitar solo during I’m So Afraid was also a very special moment for me due to the fact that he performed the majority of it directly in front of me. I still get goosebumps thinking about that!! I was in total shock. I didn’t know how to react. (:

I tried REALLY hard to meet him!! Believe me, I tried. (lol) However (as usual) I had no luck in doing so. I brought him a belated birthday gift and a very heartfelt card that I was hoping to give to him in person, but of course that didn’t happen. I ended up giving it to the head of security instead, who in turn was supposed to give it to his production team, who would then give it to Lindsey. I’m assuming he never got it since I have yet to hear from him. ):

Anyways, despite the set backs, I still had an AWESOME time!! I never wanted that night to end. He is a MUST to see!! He ALWAYS puts his heart and soul into everything that he does and this night was no exception.

watch the video. Jackie who wrote that review is not on the Ledge. she was for a very short period of time about a year or so ago, was not very interactive, and created some ruckus re photos... ;) but she puts all these great LB and FM videos on youtube and runs one of the LB fan groups on FB, with about 1000 members.
