A while back I posted that my cousin's husband had to go to Iraq, and he is over there working now taking care of the injured and he has seen a lot, to put it lightly. He has been feeling down, so please keep him in your prayers. My cousin Nikki was telling me that she got a video from him, telling her how things were going, and their 5 year old daughter was watching too, not realizing that he couldn't hear her, so she kept saying, "daddy I love you...say it back!" :(
They are also expecting a baby boy in December, so please pray that he makes it home in time.
Thank you!

Thank you! Matt e-mailed me and he said he is doing well, I guess as well as well can be over there. I also said he is looking forward getting back to the real world, and he sent me some pictures.

I will definitely keep him and his family in my daily prayers. You should be very proud of his dedication and hard work. It takes a special and brave person to volunteer during wartime.

My son-in-law recently returned from Afghanistan so I know how hard it is on the spouses and children back home. I was a military wife for almost 20 years but never had to endure my husband going to war. My daughter is 200% stronger than I ever could be. I don't know how the spouses can handle it sometimes. Luckily, the military does have a strong support system in place for the families.

I hope all of us can send a card or letter to some of our troops so they can have a brighter tomorrow. Let them know that we care about them. Thanks.
