View Full Version : Tusk Face Off: Round 5

The Ledge has been voted off!

After this poll, we will have the top 5 from side one, and side 2 of tusk will be put up. Then the top 5 from both will face each other.

Rules changed up a bit:

I can only put 10 options in a poll so we are going to do the first 10 songs off Tusk first, till we get 5. Then we will do the same with the second side of tusk till we get 5 songs. Then those five songs will face off with eachother in one poll where the last one standing wins!


Vote for your LEAST favorite song from this album. I'll start a new poll within 24 hours with the next round. At the end we will have a winner, and move on to the next album. This is just for the rumours like up (hence being in the rumours section) so we will only be doing albums with all 5 members present (mick, john, christine, stevie, lindsey) I'm not sure if we should do live albums yet (Fleetwood Mac Live, The Dance) or keep it with just studio albums. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there. If you have any suggestions, feel free to PM me.

I voted for Sara. Hopefully we can get this one out before it eats side 1 and wins. :laugh:

I wouldn't mind Storms winning the whole Tusk game actually. It's pretty awesome :nod:

Yeah, that wouldn't be so bad. Not nearly as bad as if What Makes You Think You're the One gets voted off.

I woould've liked to vote for Sara. But I went wih WMYTYTO to svae Not that Funny. It kind of sucks that all Lindsey's songs are being voted off like this.

I Love WMYTYtO too. I will abstain before voting it off, haha.
And it's a good thing we can't "cheat" by changing votes because I surely would.

I love the Lindsey songs... Departure of What Makes You Think You're the One would gut me like a fish. I'm looking forward to eliminating the side two Christine songs -- sorry Christine! and I didn't vote for Think About Me once! ... yet.

It's funny looking at just the list of Stevie tracks in the poll, they seem like sequels to Rhiannon and Dreams. Oh well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Save Me A Place and Walk A Thin Line are the best tracks on Tusk. One of them, however, is now eliminated. I hope that mistake is not made again.

are the best tracks on Tusk ... to you. You know what's so cool about the band and these votes is that everyone seems to have a different place they're coming from. But we're all SOOO passionate about them. That's a tribute to the band for the wide spectrum of soundage.

I feel bad about voting Save Me a Place off now after the shoutout at the Nokia, haha.

I'm definitely what you'd call a chiffonhead... But I'm giving Storm my vote at this point. That songs never done anything for me.

The Sara hate is baffling to me though. Each their own.

I don't know what's so funny about that post. I don't get and I posted it. :shrug:

I voted for a CM song in round 6. I love Angel and Beautiful Child too much to vote against them this early.

I don't consider myself more a fan of any one Mac songwriter than another. Maybe outside the Mac I'm WAY more LB and SN than Christine, but IN FM...its wayy to tough to tell.

I was just laughing at "chiffonhead." Being a newbie to this board, I'd never heard of it before.

When it comes to Mac, I really don't have a favorite member, I just like some songs better than others. (Although LB has my attention recently thanks to his small but kickass tour.) There are songs by all three in my FM all-time top 10. I love that about this band more than anything else.

btw hon, Chiffonhead is a term a lot of people use to describe hardcore Stevie fans, I find it humourous myself actually. It is rather rediculous.
