BBC Radio 2 - Johnnie Walker
The best of Johnnie Walker's Sunday evening show on Radio 2. 0730 - 0930 Sunday 19 October Johnnie chats to Mick Fleetwood about Fleetwood Mac and his Blues Band.
Interestingly, the following link says 16:30 to 18:30 UK time. I wonder if he has any PG news!

From what I've read and heard in various interviews and on this board, it sounded like that reunion was only something Mick was interested in. None of the others seemed all that excited about it. Peter and Jeremy seemed to feel that it was a big money grab, which wasn't something that interested them, and John seemed less than excited about working with Peter, given the personality change (for lack of a better phrase).
I would have loved to have seen it, but I doubt the shows would have been much fun if the guys weren't having fun.

Here's the interview for those that like to keep interviews... Like me
Bout 30 minutes long.... I think 3 song's played... quite abit of talk about the Rumours era, which surprised me given he's promoting an era prior to Rumours.... Said the tour next year would be about 18 months! Here's where the contradictions of information begins. Lindsey said likely a US tour of about 40 dates.

You're right. If Stevie comes out and says the tour will be 8 weeks long, that will complete things for us.
Anyway, hearing talk about 18 months should make our European friends happy.

I heard the last part of the interview on the radio and Mick was talking about how Lindsey and Stevie came to join FWM and about Rumours and that part. He didn't say much about his own tour - for me that is great news, he is drumming up interest in the UK for a European Tour in 2009 - here's hoping anyway. Shame that Lindsey and Stevie wont come and do some concerts as well:shrug:
So great to hear anyone from the Mac on the radio or TV in the UK. That's the 3rd time now I have seen/heard Mick on the radio/tv in the last couple of weeks. Great:blob2:

O, I'm sure Lindsey means 40 dates US-tour, get your ass in the studio with a producer, bring it out and do an international long tour.

Just to say, i've just picked up the December 2008 edition of 'Record Collector' magazine (Pink Floyd on the cover,) and they have an interview with Mick in it. Not sure if it's available to read on their website - doubt it. I'll have a look tonight and post anything that's interesting.
