Having trouble deciding which Fleetwood Mac fan forum best suits your needs? Confused about whose side you're really on? I've thrown together this quick table that depicts that main differences between The Ledge, The Chain, and Seven Wonders. Check each statement that's closest to how you feel, tally up the total, and whichever site has the most checkmarks, is the one you should post at. And never leave.

Never.

There's actually an images forum on The Chain. I'm surprised you haven't joined for that.

That's really great, thanks for the laugh. Quite predictably, it seems I'm on the right forum.

You said you don't know how to get banned on the ledge? Just ask Carne, he'd be happy to help!:laugh: He might even have another account!

ah yes alt.music.fleetwood-mac now that brings back memories. I notice that Bill Gamelson is still posting there (just went to look). Can't believe its been ten years since I was last in that newsgroup and it is still full of trolls. Ah I remember the good old days. (guess I must be in the right forum though).

It's obvious he enjoys the sound of his own keyboard.

so has that newgroup been basically dead since I left it 9-10 years ago or has it had a revival at some point?

Doubt anyone on here would remember that Stevie Nicks eats baby seals (think that was the Stevie Nicks newsgroup though).

It is a newsgroup (think usenet) where the FM fans (myself included) used to hang out in the old days. The first group to fall victim to the trolls was rec.music.artists.stevie-nicks. alt.music.fleetwood-mac seemed to be doing ok for a while but then in the end it went the same way. Oh the joys of unmoderated posting.

[A troll is a user of a newsgroup, forum or message board that posts messages with the intent of inciting an argument or flame-war just in case someone doesn't know]

Edit: Wow was just remembering Ginny Kamano and how she used to come to chat with us on the Stevie Nicks newsgroup.

What is the web address?

What is the web address?

alt.music.fleetwood-mac

you need a newsgroup viewer (something like usenext etc). Newsgroups are to be found on the usenet rather than at a www address hence needing a usenet viewer to view them.

try reading this for further info

Having said all that I wouldn't bother going to the newsgroup. There is nothing there but mad Bill and his usual rantings (and he seems happy to be ranting to himself).
