Yes I agree.These days we got to watchout for identity theft.People dont shread/burn important info.Stuff with SS numbers on them.Pill bottles shown here should of gotten destroyed or take the labels off and wash them out and put small things in them .I use my own for electronic parts or screws.others papers I box up until iI check them .Then I will take out my Toro{Lawnmower} shreader and shread it.and use it for compost.Other junk like that I found at the curb like electronic stuff that still works I would take and clean it up and give it away or reuse it.Some areas its illegal to garbage pick.

Didn't celebrities get pharm drugs in other names. Its hard to believe someone was filling these at some local pharmacy. Another bottle for Stephanie Nicks.
I don't believe these were thrown away but were stolen. Stevie has said that people took advantage of her condition back then and stole all her demos and Lord knows what else. It was a very scary time for her and we probably dont know the horrors that went on with people taking advantage of her and other issues she had. All we know is what she told us like falling head first into her fireplace. But I am sure there were far worse incidents of people taking advantage of her.

Agree. And tpersonally, I don't find getting those bottles fun. It's not like an autograph, or merchandise related to a concert or album, certification, etc. I'm not that crazy about them either, but I think they'd be a nicer souvenir, more related to artist achievements. Didn't celebrities get pharm drugs in other names. Its hard to believe someone was filling these at some local pharmacy. Another bottle for Stephanie Nicks.
I don't believe these were thrown away but were stolen. Stevie has said that people took advantage of her condition back then and stole all her demos and Lord knows what else. It was a very scary time for her and we probably dont know the horrors that went on with people taking advantage of her and other issues she had. All we know is what she told us like falling head first into her fireplace. But I am sure there were far worse incidents of people taking advantage of her.

So she's a bit selective in not wanting to acknowledge her own culpability in so many early songs getting out.

Absolutely. She was equally out of control during the cocaine years. She admits she never remembered the demo of Starshine that was recorded with the Heartbreakers during the 1980s. She is also part culpable with her own tranquilizer addiction. She says the doctor kept "upping" her dose. It probably was at her request and living in a bubble not seeing how out of it she was.
I was recently watching a segment about Andy Gibb and how he was on top of the world in 1978 but his cocaine addiction completely destroyed his career and ended up indirectly taking his life. I thought of Stevie how lucky she was to actually have management force her into treatment and another supergroup band to fall back on. Imagine if she had not been forced into treatment. Imagine another solo album coming from her mess of a world. She would have become a flop just like Andy Gibb. Even when his music career tanked and his voice suffered he landed jobs at Solid Gold. But they fired him because he was constantly showing up late. He and Victoria Principle were the power couple in the early 80s. But she gave him an ultimatum....me or the cocaine and he chose the cocaine. His record company actually dropped him. His life and career completely washed away because of cocaine. Stevie was dangerously close to it happening to her.

Another lucky artist is Elton. I read his autobio last year and I thought how lucky he was to have revived his career in the 90s after rehab, but above all, to have survived! His life was a complete excess for two decades.

But if we mention people who are still alive, now I think Charlie Sheen holds the record. I just watched his doc, AKA Charlie Sheen, and I still can't believe he's still alive today.
