My sister...

had a miscarriage last night. She was 12 weeks into her pregnancy. Would you guys say a prayer for her?

She was having a real hard time when we spoke today on the phone. She had just really accepted the fact that she was actually going to have a baby; and was looking forward to going to the doctor in another month to find out the sex.

I am sorry to hear that.

I had two miscarriages, and it is devastating, but.... time heals all wounds. There is a great feeling loss and that your body (who is supposed to be your best friend) has betrayed you...at least, that is how I felt.

The doctor (very logically) explained that something wasn't right and said that I would not be happy with a handicapped child, who had to struggle all through life. He said, "This is for the best."

I know that those words are not comforting, and as time has healed my sorrow, I know how your sister must feel at this particular time.

It stinks and sometimes life is frustrating and sorrowful.

Tell her to hang in there and I'll be thinking of you and her.
