Will they eventually capture all of the dates? I notice Diego isn't listed.

I don't know how it works why some dates are published and some not. I'm not sure if it's the promoter that provides the info, or the venue, or the artist management.... We'll have to wait and see if some of the gaps get filled in.

With those numbers Lindsey is not making any real money. Not that I think that was his intention...For a mid-level artist with just a 3 piece band, one bus, one truck, and a small crew 40-50k per night would be plenty to make a profit. Lindsey of course flies on a private jet, stays in Four Seasons/Ritz type hotels, and I am sure pays his band above average rates.

Its almost always the promoter's call.
The 614 figure for Portland is a bit generous, based on the crowd I saw that night- I wonder what the actual drop count was.

Brett makes more money when he says what an honor it is to work with Lindsey during the band intros.

Update:
3 additional dates added: San Fran, LA and Phoenix:

Based on only these 7 dates, his averages are up compared to the last tour.
When Bree and I talked to Brett Tuggle after the Toronto show (now that's a whole other thread altogether, man...) he said that in fact Lindsey was losing money going out on this tour, just because of all it costs him personally with the plane, transportation, his band, etc. So it is quite obvious that the man is doing this because he really cares, and he really wants to just create music. Because it isn't like there's going to be some worldwide Lindsey Buckingham resurgence, not because he doesn't deserve it (please) but because he clearly doesn't need it or seek it out.

A thread you wouldn't mind starting? ;) Hehehe.

Of course. And we have pics. But I was waiting for Bree so I'll say for now that it was pretty damn fantastic. Brett is charming, intelligent, sweet, and extremely down-to-earth, and we had a wonderful, fabulous evening.

Brett's cool. I've never had a full-on conversation with him, but have chit-chatted a few times. He's a big flirt. Heh. Neale is a cool guy too, but when I go to an LB concert...I'm glad he does the ISA solo on Brett's side. LOL

I know, right? He's an incredibly cool guy and I enjoyed his company immensely. He's a flirt, yes, but also very conversational and candid and smart. He's a far cry from many of these sycophant-types who name drop any second they have a chance. He's a classy guy and I've gained a lot of respect and admiration for him as a person, to be quite honest.

While I'd love for Lindsey to still be selling out venues, even small ones, I think it's pretty awesome that he's on the road, enjoying himself and playing to audiences who truly do care about his music. Sure, it may not be a packed room or a large venue, but it's great that he is in a place where he can go out on the road with his band, plays his shows, get the music out there a bit more and just have a good time and give the audience a great show. I've been thinking it a lot lately, but right now is a pretty awesome time to be a fan of the man.

Looking at the average capacity and average gross really tells the story. 65%.
