I'm fairly new to the Ledge (at least this time around), but one thing strikes me as missing and that is a forum for non-fleetwood mac music. Sure we have the Chit Chat forum, but you kind of have to wade through the political stuff to even find a thread that might be music related.
I understand that people might want to discuss off-topic stuff here but I do think that it would be great if there was a forum simply for other music. Therefore should I wish to mention the new Jackson Browne album, I could do it in an appropriate forum without being lost amongst the discussions on Sarah Palin and religion.
Just a thought...

I kind of agree with you on this one. I think it would be a good addition.

I'm all for this idea!
My biggest problem: I listen to like 200 different styles of music :wavey::nod::]:D

^ So we'll have no shortage of threads, then! ;)
I think it's an awesome idea. People who like to discuss the Mac are going to like discussing other music they listen to. It'd be a hit.

Totally! ;D I have yet to listen to Jackson's newest album. That was the first concert I ever went to.

My musical taste goes from Fleetwood Mac-AC/DC-Slayer & much more. In fact, RNB, Techno (house or whatever you want to call it) & Schlagers are the only genres I can't stand.
Monday I bought Black Ice from AC/DC! It's awesome :wavey:

Thank you for your Music Forum posts and we also appreciate those who took the time to PM us to share their thoughts and ideas about a new forum.
Although we understand that a separate forum would facilitate music discussion, from a moderation stand point, it is easier for us to keep things as streamlined as possible, by having all of the non-FM topics in one place.
We hope you will continue to discuss music in Chit Chat.
Thanks again for your suggestions.

(just now seeing this)
You are welcome. I don't think it would be that much of a moderation nightmare, but I do see where you all are coming from.
