Hi all ,I'm just letting you all know, to tune in Off The Record with Uncle Joe Benson next
Sunday Sept 28-2008 for Fleetwood Mac.Joe will have a brand new conversation with producer Ken Caillat.Maybe Ken will shed some more light on the new FM record due next year according to Stevie and Lindsey.I will post a copy of the show when It comes available in this thread.anyway here's Uncle Joe's link to get more info and radio affiliates that air the show and some do stream online,Please call or email stations for updated info on air time.

Yea that would be great to see the "MAC" get back to Richard and Ken, but I hope Stevie does something with Chris Lord Alge... The outcome is always something FANTASTIC!!!

That poses an interesting theory. La Nicks is not really doing a record for sale on a chart. She is doing one as a concept for a movie, what is her brain child. I wonder how much input in the final product the studio will let her have. Certainly, she worked that out in the contracts.

Hi All I received a advanced copy of Off The Record from my best friend Pete , who is in the radio business.so he emailed the show to me and I edited all the commercials out and re-mp3'ed at 160kbps. also Pete send the show promos as a bonus.
I have not have the time to listen to the show so let me know how it sounds and also any info that Ken talked about.My guess nothing new.So here is the links to Mediafire

I think this is what I heard on the radio this morning. I thought the most interesting part was when Ken talked about Lindsey's style of song writing. He said that Christine & Stevie both write like they are telling a story. But he found that Lindsey would take a word let someone like the car vallet or an assistant or someone see the word, write down another word, fold over the word before that word & & so on & pass it on. Then once he'd get these words, he'd make a song out of those words. He said that he didn't know if Lindsey still writes like this, but I thought that was interesting. :nod:

But I didn't like how they didn't play all the Fleetwood Mac songs before Ken would start talking & then they'd cut the song off usually at the good parts.:shrug:

I remember Lindsey saying he played this game with Richard before and some interesting things came out of it, experiment wise, though he didn't actually say any released songs came out of it. Michele
