Ok..So since the Album Cover Face Off was a pretty good hit amoung a lot of people. I got a lot of PMs saying how much they liked it and how I should do others...So I thought I'd do this.
My thoughts for this face off would be...we would do a face off for every album and at the very end we would have an "ULTIMATE Stevie Song Face Off" of the winners from each album...Good idea?!?! Well I liked it
So we will start off with Bella Donna since its Stevie's first solo album. We will vote for our LEAST favorite song off of this album til we are down to the winner.
Round 1 will end Wednesday(Sept. 17) @ 3pm

Yaaay, first reply! I voted for Leather and Lace, I've just never liked that song. I think it's too long. But I'm not really a fan of How Still my Love. LOL, quite personally, I prefer Wild Heart to Bella Donna!

I wonder if the results will be different from the last time we did this.
I voted for L&L. Barf.

I love these...
I am voting off L&L because I am not a Don Henley fan!!
I like the live versions of this song with Lori and Sharon, though!!
I stand in agreement on this comment... "BARF"!!!!!
(Barf on the album version, of course!!):p

I voted for Stop Draggin' My Heart Around. This song just doesn't do anything for me. I usually skip it.

Think About It is one of those great songs most people tend to over look. Its upbeat, it has a positive message and sadly it will lose out to the tired Stop Draggin' My Heart Around. :distress:

All right, this face off is going to be way funner. I was kind of indifferent to voting on album covers, but the songs are gonna be a different story.
I'm voting off After the Glitter Fades. It's the only song I skip on Bella Donna.

Voted for Highway Man. I never really cared for it that much, and thought it was a weak effort on Stevie's part, considering she had some killer demo's from that time.

That seems to be the general statement that a lot of people have. I've never really had a problem with the song though.

How could anyone hate "Highway Man" or "Leather and Lace"?!
The only song I dislike off of Bella Donna is SDMHA!

Up until 2005 I would have said Highwayman right off the bat. But then when Stevie told Jim Ladd she was gonna perform it in her Vegas act I got very excited and got into it for the first time.
I voted off Stop Draggin' because I never really liked it all that much. It was the lead single from Bella Donna and being the huge SN fan that I was/am, I pretended to like it when people commented about it to me.

How did your feeling about Highwayman change when you realized Stevie just likes to say **** thats not really true in most of her interviews

Huh? The song is basically about men she's been involved w in The Industry. She's put a romantic twist on what was often not a very romantic situation with these guys. Or at least not what she felt a romantic situation should be. She's said this quite frequently in interviews, esp. at the time BD was released.
